The 900Global Flux high performance bowling ball uses the S72R coverstock which is the S72 coverstock with a catalyst added. This coverstock was designed to keep the ball's traction in oil and increase its performance at the backend. The Flux uses the Amplify Core which has a flip block on the bottom that raises the differential and increases the torque of the ball at the breakpoint.

Two Piece Asymmetric Ball for Medium to Heavy Oil conditions. This ball has plenty of flare potential. With the new Amplify weight block and Coverstock combination, giving great traction in the oil, and plenty of energy at the breakpoint and continues through the pin deck.

I have thrown the Flux in practice and competition and it is a must have in any bag, as I found this ball to be able to make the corner from anywhere on the lane.

The 900 Global Flux

The 900 Global Flux is a great ball for Med to Medium Heavy oil.
The solid cover at 72R is just enough for cranker=s tweener=s and stroker=s alike.
Slow speed bowlers can use this one on heavy oil with on problems.
I tested this ball on inside patterns, in the track (second arrow) and out side of ten.
The ball worked great on all of the patterns (but will need head oil)
Here is my VLS layout for my 16mph speed on a fresh heavy oil lane
Pin to Pap 4" Psa to Pap 5.5" and Pin buffer 2.25". Use your med to heavy oil layout,or heavy oil layout and enjoy your high scores !

LANE CONDITION
Flux
Coverstock: S7R Solid
Finish: 4000 Grit Abralon
Core: Amplify Asymmetric
RG: 2.55
Differential: 0.048
Int Diff: 0.014

Layout: 20 x 5 x 45
Tester:  PAP 5 1/2 R, 1 1/2 D

The Flux uses a two-piece construction, which is the first 900 Global ball to do so outside of the Badger and Honey Badger lines.  Also, no filer material is used with the Flux.  This ball is designed to provide traction in the midlane and more overall hook.

The Flux is best used on higher volume conditions and provides great continuation through the pins. As you may notice at times when using solids on sport patterns the ball may lag a bit or quit earlier then desired before the ball reaches the roll phase. What you will enjoy with the Flux is that it keeps driving when you think the ball may be done with its hook phase.

The control and continuation through the pins gives this one a nice place in the bag as a benchmark ball for longer patterns. For the Flux be sure to keep the surface clean and 4K to maintain the reaction this ball was designed for.  I recommend this one for the player looking for an edge on the fresh. FLUX:  Tour Engineered. 900 Series
Coverstock: S7R Solid
Finish: 4000 Grit Abralon
Core: Amplify Asymmetric
RG: 2.55
Differential: 0.048
Int. Diff: 0.014
Layout: 45x3.75x45
Tester: PAP 4 1/2 R, 1/2 D
Lane Condition: Heavy: Medium to heavy:

The 900 Global FLUX simply put is a hard hitting, smooth rolling, explosive ball! I love it and here are my thoughts about why!

The Amplify Core is a new design built on the same features as the Ellipticon core found in the Continuum, with an added flip block on the bottom. This new two piece design yields a powerful “turning point” (torque) at the breakpoint! For me that equated to a swift and solid response providing predictability even with an acceptable “miss” margin of error!  Further, because there is no outer core in the FLUX, when it has to “roll” harder to get the pocket it still hits like a truck kicking out that pesky ten!(My version of higher coefficient of restitution which increases hitting power!)

Being on the higher speed/slower rev. side of the spectrum the new S72R Coverstock with the new catalyst gave me firm traction in oil when playing down and in and maintained its strength at the backend when I was able to open up the lane a bit! Further, this cover accepts surface adjustments easily without deterioration! This was huge for me as surface is tantamount for my style! On THS I cut the cover to 2000 and on a 42’ Scorpion I cut the cover to 1500. Keep this cover clean and fresh and it won’t die on you anytime soon!

My conclusion of the Flux is it’s a hardworking, fun ball for medium to heavy oil conditions that won’t let you down! THS or Pattern the FLUX can be a “staple” to any arsenal.  One that you will be using for a long time!

Shes a ball for heavier oil indeed. I really like how it rolls, I just wish I could throw it more. I usually bowl on wood lanes for my league nights. I can't wait to try it out on some sport patterns. This ball rolls SO NICE!

LANE CONDITION

The 900 Global Flux is both controllable and powerful piece of equipment. As a high speed, high rev player this ball controls both the middle and back parts of the lane while saving a boat load of energy for the pins. Maintaining the pocket on medium to heavy oil lane patterns is no issue for this piece of equipment. This ball is a must have piece going into the league\tournament season.

Flux
Coverstock: S7R Solid
Finish: 4000 Grit Abralon
Core: Amplify Asymmetric
14 lbs.
RG: 2.62
Differential: 0.022
Int. Diff: 0.008

Layout: 55 X 4 X 30
PAP: 4 7/8, 0 up/down
Lane Condition Medium-Heavy to Heavy

The Flux uses a 4000 finish on the S72R Solid coverstock. The Flux coverstock is designed to be more angular at the breakpoint. The 4000 surface allows the Flux to retain energy for its big angular move off the breakpoint.
I was able to use this ball in my Tuesday night league which for some reason had heavier oil. This ball allowed me to play 15 to 8 with no issues for about 2 games before I had to put back in the bag.
The Flux is more angular than the Money Badger Tour, but the Money Badger Tour has a more overall hook.

900 Global has provide another winner in the Tour Engineered 900 Series.

This ball is a flat out monster! Saw a bowler using it in my Monday league, carrying everything, and I immediately knew I had to get one! This ball is angular down lane and turns the corner like nothing else that I own! The backend on this ball is huge! Much like Richard Smalls above, I too used mine in my Tuesday night league and posted a 250 game on the fresh shot! I played 13 to 8 for about a game and a half before I had to put it back in the bag!

I love this ball! Gives me miss room in and miss room out! Comes back from anywhere for me! They got a winner with this one!
