First question, is this ball better than the first?  YES.  Second, is this a great ball for senior players and players with less hand that like to play straighter? YES and YES.  Symmetrical balls are a control freaks best friend.  They have less core, so they get down lane easier and they have more “pop” on the back end since they do not use as much energy early.  I used a pretty simple drilling, pin right next to my ring with the cg on my centerline.  The ball gets down the lane easy, revs up and continues through the pins.  One of my favorite layouts for house shots, this will give you more forgiveness and help take out the over under.  I used an A pad, in the NEAT system to take some of the factory finish off.  So far the ball has been great in league and would recommend this ball to anyone who meets the above criteria or is just looking for a good symmetrical pearl.

Wisdom pearl
Very smooth and clean thru the fronts.
I would recommend this ball on medium oil lane to dry lanes with good backends.
It's gives good length and enough energy to the backends.
Very simple and controlble ball.

Rev Rate is approximately 320

I drilled this Wisdom 45 degrees x 5 x 70 degrees.  This is ball is great on shorter patterns or hooking house patterns.  It allows me to stay fairly close to the oil line without creating too much angle off of the end of the pattern.  This ball can be used very effectively also on medium length patterns after hitting it with an "E" or "A" Neat finishing pad (approximately 2000 abralon surface).

Absolute savior of a ball!  Someone finally came out with a true dry lane ball.  I struggle mightily on drier/early hook conditions.  Normal dry lane balls for me go 50ft and break off wild on the backend.  Way too hard to control.  Not this ball!  Drilled it 6" from PAP.  Cg out 1".  Left it OOB.  Tons of skid, lopes in the midlane and really lays off the back.  Excellent on broken-down anything!  I actually stayed in the dry part of the lane with the fireballers on Kegel Challenge Broadway lighter volume. Exceptional reaction for a pearl, very controlled off the breakpoint.  Carry was good on a demanding condition.  Wisdom seems 2-3 boards less the new Jewel easy.  More skid and less corner.  Wisdom is a wise dry lane master!

This ball is my favorite down the entire lane.  when bowling league.  It is so predictable and smooth down lane.  This ball allows me to stay in the track area of the lane and have the best chance to score.  I really like knowing that when this ball hits the end of the pattern, it is NOT  going to go sideways and create some ugly splits to shoot at.  GREAT BALL!!!!!!

This is my favorite ball of the new releases from 900 Global.  This ball is so clean thru the fronts and midlane and has a nice but controllable snap on the back end.  I recommend this ball for THS and for medium length sport and PBA patterns.  This is one of those balls that no matter what, I can use it whether it be squaring it up and going down and in or moving in to 4th or 5th arrow and the ball doesn't use its energy to soon and drives thru the pins.  Awesome ball!!!

The Wisdom is cleaner and stronger than the first wisdom. This ball was designed for seniors in mind but it's a ball for every bowler on a house condition and some of the shorter sport patterns. I drilled this ball exactly like the original wisdom with a 4.5 X 4.5 layout with the pin above the ring finger and no weight hole. The ball gets down the lane easily, revs up and continues through the pins. This is a benchmark ball for everyone.

Likes:I like what 900 Global did by raising the RG in this years Wisdom. It is definitely close to a benchmark ball now. I like this ball on the flatter conditions because it has a weaker symmetric core and not an overly aggressive coverstock. Which is what makes a benchmark ball. I layed mine out with a 5x4 and small weight hole. I also took a "T" pad from the NEAT finishing system to take a little of the factory polish off and make it even more smooth. This allows me to even use this ball on fresh patterns that aren't too heavy with oil up front. I can see this ball being good also for anyone who throws with slower ball speeds because the core isn't too aggressive therefore allowing the ball to delay its hook further down the lane. My pap is 5 15/16 by 5/16 up. Great job 900 Global!

I know the Wisdom is designed for the senior bowler that needs a ball to get down the lane effortlessly and stay controllable in the back end, but I’m 26 years old and that type of reaction sounds pretty good to me too.  And with its Red/Silver color, this ball looks sharp. I drilled my Wisdom pin down 4 3/8” from my P.A.P. and kicked the CG out at 60 degrees and put a ¾” hole on my P.A.P. This ball works great when I want to square up on a pattern and need a ball to get down the lane clean but not over react in the back.

The Wisdom designed for lighter oil and smoother reaction down lane. Thats exactly what it does. For those of you that have slower ball speeds and want to play near the track area the Wisdom is perfect for you.

On house patterns when the lane starts to blow up and I can't control the breakpoint with any other ball I grab The Wisdom. Its move at the spot is smooth but powerful enough to get the corners out. Its normally difficult to accomplish this with a ball today. Once a ball gets smoother down lane it normally translates into 10 pins, or even worse 8-10s.
On sport patterns overall, the Wisdom will give length once traffic has devastated the the front part of the lane. When I encounter this, and there is a little volume at the end of the pattern the Wisdom keeps me in my wheel house longer than most other balls.
