Drilled 50 x 4 1/2 x 70

The Grip/It is new first out of the Bag League ball.  It reads the lanes a touch earlier then a Train but opens up the back ends significantly more.  I always was a bit worried about moving in a swinging my Train because they just were not angular enough to constantly kick out the corners no such problem with a Grip/It.  This ball was much stronger than I thought it would have been just from looking at the Core and reading the Diff numbers.  I can use the ball on all Medium and Most Heavy Volumes of oil.

If don't have a biggest hand on the block and you are having a little trouble carrying on House Shot this is defiantly the one ball to add to your bag.  Needs a little oil upfront to help it get down the lane but it is a big hitting, angular new release from 900 Global.

GRIP/IT on any condition!

Nothing more to say than HOLY VERSATILITY!!! I have only had my 900 Global Grip/It for three weeks, and it is already my go to ball when the lanes get "complicated". I threw it with the box finish (4000 sanded) after I drilled it, and 5th arrow wasn't deep enough. I then gave it the T-Pad (4000 smooth), and it added about five more boards of room. Added a little polish to the surface and...WOW. I had the whole lane in my back pocket! I will probably get two more, and have one with each surface. Plain and simple. Great versatile ball with a ton of potential. Check out my videos of 900 Global/AMF Products on youtube, username "conventionalspinner"..

Likes:Layout for this ball is one my “Ace In The Bag” layouts! 5 ¾ x 2 x 4 ½ . The pin falls below my middle finger and CG is 1” up and ¾” right from Center Grip. The S64 Cover at 4000 Abralon was a little too early reading for me so I took it down to 2000 Abralon and put High Polish on top so that the ball would store more of the energy for down lane angular motion. This ball is great on THS conditions and fits a variety of different players games with its “throw back” Light bulb shaped core! I use this ball on all house shots to see kind of volume is really out there.

Dislikes:NONE!

The new 900 Global Grip It! Great color and fits any bowler’s style. This new hybrid Grip It has become my new go-to ball for league and sport bowling. The Grip It with its bell shaped core and Hybrid cover stock along with its 2.49 RG and 0.40 differentials clears the front of the lanes and makes a smooth entry to the pocket. This ball will negotiate just about any lane condition except for extremely long oil patterns for this I hit the ball with an “N” pad which produced the desired results. This is a Great Benchmark ball that everyone should have in their arsenal!

Great ball from 900 Global. I drilled mine with pin in the palm kick cg out 45degrees and put motion hole 1"from cg. I Polished it up and wow did it perform. With the polish the easily cleared the heads and had a strong arcing motion to the pocket. This ball keeps the pins low for max carry.Great color scheme of the gold/purple blend have already drilled 3 more out of the shop . If you don`t have alot of ball speed you might want change surface a little to tame it down because of the strong midlane reaction.

A symmetrical monster!!  Big hook, bigger backend!  Drilled up the Grip-It from 900 Global with a pin 5" from PAP pin in middle finger.  Left it OOB and WOW!  A new look from 900 Global, very "hooky" wants to start but also wants to turn the corner HARD!  On a longer THS, AMF synthetics this ball gave me boatloads of room to miss wide and shots kept in the oil still hit and carried.  717 1st night with new pins in the rack.  I was only 1 of 4 with 700 in a solid 5 man scratch 12 team league.  Saw no real issues.  Even when I had to move in last game.  Moved 5 and 3 left looking at 19 shot 237 to finish.  Still had good amount of room to miss right.  I imagine with polish you could have a real skid/flip ball in the arsenal!  Will try that next.  Excellent ball from 900 Global, big hook, big performance in a smaller price tag!

Likes:The Grip It, is a one of the most user friendly/benchmark balls that 900 Global has came out with. They have really done a great job with this core to cover combination on getting a ball that can be used on all house shots, but also on a lot of sport patterns also. Due to the fact that this ball responds so well to cover alterations and its symmetric core. My first night on fresh THS shot I threw it in practice thought the cover was a little too strong, so used a dirty rag on spinner and put a little shine to it. The results?? 256-228-289=773!!!!! And then when I take a little polish off and use 4000 on it to smooth it out a little bit, is awesome on the sport patterns. This will be one of the balls in my bag when I go to USBC nationals this year. I layed this ball with a 5x4 layout. And the other big bonus to owning this ball is the price!!! This ball is a must buy for any league or sport shot bowler!!! Thanks again 900global!

The ball rolls great through the heads without the loss of the back end. The ball has great finishing power through the pins. With this ball you can stay close to the track all three games. This is a great ball for all skill levels of bowlers. Drill it pin up and watch it destroy the pins.

If you're looking for a piece that offers a lot of bang for your buck look no further. I experimented with this one and put a 2 x 5 layout on it. While it rolls early, the pin carry is exceptional. I am going to punch up another one of these because of the potential this ball brings.

COMMENTS

Having had success with the Favorite and King Cobra, I decided to keep the
layout used on both of these balls. Initially I left it at its OOB dull surface and what I got was a ball that rev'd up in the midlane and had a strong arch on the backend. Perfect benchmark ball reaction. I decided I needed this ball to go a bit longer so I used a NEAT 'T' pad on 4 sides and hit it with some polish. At this surface, I had more length and a much cleaner midlane read, Additionally, I now have a much stronger backend reaction, but with a predictable arch. The reaction is not skid/flip at all. I am now able to follow the transition with this ball and play deeper without sacrificing pin carry. The Grip It allows me to use it for all 3 games of league.

Have you been looking for a ball that does not give up once it starts rolling in the mid lanes?  Well here you go, I give you the 900 Global Grip It.  This ball is a beast as it just rolls off the spot and hits like a ton of bricks.

The first thing that hit me with this ball is the color.  Global brought back the very popular Gold and Purple swirl and just makes you think of the AMF Night Hawk Pearl.    I also enjoyed how they added the neon green for the label on the ball, makes it stand out.

The Grip It has an amazing move to it.  When you throw it, it makes a great motion from the mids until the back ends.  I have never seen this ball roll out!  This ball is a great benchmark ball for most any oil patterns from house to sport patterns.

If you are looking for a ball that is extremely versatile and very powerful, the Grip It is for you!  You will get a lot of compliments from both the color and the performance.
