The 900 Global FLUX simply put is a hard hitting, smooth rolling, explosive ball! I love it and here are my thoughts about why!
The Amplify Core is a new design built on the same features as the Ellipticon core found in the Continuum, with an added flip block on the bottom. This new two piece design yields a powerful “turning point†(torque) at the breakpoint! For me that equated to a swift and solid response providing predictability even with an acceptable “miss†margin of error! Further, because there is no outer core in the FLUX, when it has to “roll†harder to get the pocket it still hits like a truck kicking out that pesky ten!(My version of higher coefficient of restitution which increases hitting power!)
Being on the higher speed/slower rev. side of the spectrum the new S72R Coverstock with the new catalyst gave me firm traction in oil when playing down and in and maintained its strength at the backend when I was able to open up the lane a bit! Further, this cover accepts surface adjustments easily without deterioration! This was huge for me as surface is tantamount for my style! On THS I cut the cover to 2000 and on a 42’ Scorpion I cut the cover to 1500. Keep this cover clean and fresh and it won’t die on you anytime soon!
My conclusion of the Flux is it’s a hardworking, fun ball for medium to heavy oil conditions that won’t let you down! THS or Pattern the FLUX can be a “staple†to any arsenal. One that you will be using for a long time!
