The 900Global Honey Badger Intensity was designed to build on the proven results of the Honey Badger Revival by offering the same reaction shape when facing heavier oiled lanes. 900Global has taken the S70 Solid Reactive coverstock and finished it with a 4000 Grit Abralon pad to offer more reaction in the oil. This high-performance ball creates a great skid/flip reaction. The Grapnel 2.0 core in the Honey Badger Intensity easily gets through the front part of the lane and has a sharp reaction. The Grapnel 2.0 paired with the S70 Solid Reactive coverstock offers a particular shape when bowling on fresh patterns.

Color: Pink/Blue Navy

Length: 40
Volume: Medium
Type (THS, Sport Pattern etc): THS

COMMENTS
The Honey Badger Intensity from 900 Global is the next great ball in the amazing Honey Badger line. This ball stacks right up with the Reality, giving you a heavy rolling strong ball while complimenting it with a slightly different motion. The Honey Badger Intensity is slower down lane than the Reality meaning you will be able to use it right before the Reality comes into play. While this ball will be great for heavy volumes and early in the block at tournaments, when you migrate left it still picks up in the mid lane and continues into the pins. I can see myself using this ball a lot! The colors on this ball (pink and dark blue) look great on the shelf and make it easy to read what it is doing going down the lane.

The Honey Badger Intensity brings back the very popular Grapnel 2.0 Core and S70 Solid Reactive coverstock.  These Honey Badger balls are very unique in the industry in a very positive way and this Intensity is now difference.  The ability to bring a higher RG rating at 2.54 and 0.048 Differential in 15lbs gives the ability to see a much different reaction shape.  If you are a fan of Storm or Roto Grip and are looking to try something different, than this is a ball I recommend for you.  Not only is this ball clean through the front of the lane, but it continues really well down lane and reads the whole lane very well.  It is also worth the lower price compared to other balls in the brand.  This a solid benchmark ball that can be used on a wide variety of oil patterns and conditions.

I ordered this ball as I was looking for an earlier and stronger ball to compliment by Honey Badger Revival. This ball did not disappoint. It is a baby reality in my opinion. My reality is earlier and slightly smoother as compared to the Honey Badger Intensity(HBI). The Reality is still angular but the HBI definitely stores energy and is really continuous. I used it on a 44 foot sport shot (Billy Hardwick) and it worked extremely well. I would imaging this ball would be great for a tweeter or stroker when they need a ball that is moderately clean and strong back end motion. For crankers, this ball will be great on heavier volumes but might be too much ball for THS.

PAP: 4 7/16 right by 1/8 up

Layout: 50 x 5.5 x 50

Speed: 18-19 mph off my hand, 16-17 mph on the monitors

Revs 400-450.

900 Global Honey Badger Intensity

The Honey Badger line has been a huge success from 900 Global since the Honey Badger was introduced. The Intensity has an RG of 2.54, differential of 0.048 and PSA of 0.012 and is wrapped around the super versatile S70 Solid Cover. I drilled mine 5.5 x 5 x 3 and this motion has been one that has been missing in my bag. Because of higher RG, it is a little cleaner through the front part of the lane but the solid cover helps the ball in the oil. It is a couple boards stronger than my Hy Road Max and I can see myself using this ball a lot weather it be my first ball out of my bag or one of the last balls out when they are hook.  If you want an all around benchmark ball, your going  to want this Honey Badger Intensity.

Bowler Specs:
Right Hand. PAP 4” Over 0 up
Rev Rate 400, Average Tilt, low Axis Rotation.
Speed at cameras 16.5 – 17
Layout: 4.5 x 4 x 2.5 (pin up)
Review:  The Intensity is a great first ball out of the bag on medium to medium oily lane conditions and fits perfectly between the Ordnance C4 and the Reality. The solid S70 cover is strong enough for all but the most oily lane conditions and helps blend the pattern out. It reacts really well off the dry without over-reacting but does need some head oil. Find the oil line, move just inside of it and let it rip. The Intensity is super versatile. It’s also very receptive to surface changes and different layouts. Straighter players can go up the boards and stronger/high rev players can move inside and wheel it. It has a smooth and continuous backend reaction so it will also work on medium/long challenge or sport shots that have at least a medium volume of oil. If you love the Revival but need a stronger ball for more oil, then the Intensity will be perfect.

The Reality has quickly become a favorite go to ball for me.  The HB Intensity is now giving me a perfect 1-2 punch. When the overall strength of the Reality is too much and needs to be put away the Intensity has been perfect to go too. Great option keeping the same look in the same part of the lane longer.

Cover: S70 Solid
Core: Grapnel 2.0 Asymmetric
Finish: 4000
RG: 2.54

The newest addition to the 900 Global Honey Badger line of balls is the HB Intensity. It features the s70 solid coverstock. The s70 cover provides more traction than the original Honey Badger. The 4000 finish helps the ball not over-read the front of the lane. The Grapnel 2.0 Asymmetric core delivers dynamic motion without making the ball too strong to stay in as the lanes break down.

The Honey Badger series have stood out in the market because of their dynamic asymmetric motion in their price point. This 700 series ball creates great motion and power without having to be at the absolute top of the hook scale. The s70 creates an excellent motion as its cover gives you enough grip to tackle more volume with straighter angles while it's asymmetric medium diff core allows you to stay in the ball longer and continue to carry as you transition in on the lane.

I tested the Honey Badger Intensity on a fresh house pattern. Its easy to spot the value of this ball as its strong enough without being too strong. It's versatility will make it useful on many patterns. I think for any but the absolute top end of speed dominant bowlers this is a fantastic first ball out on a house pattern. It allows you to get a good read on the shape of the oil pattern and responds very well to hand position changes allowing you to attack the lanes from multiple angles. This ball should be a staple for most pro shops as it will work for the vast majority of your customers, no matter what the lane conditions. It also has great shelf appeal.

HB Intensity is the newest addition to the Honey Badger line. This ball features the Grapnel 2.0 Asymmetric Core and the S70 Solid Reactive Coverstock. This is my first HB ball and it is an amazing piece to have. The ball motion of this ball reminds me a lot of a Code X (which is my favorite asym of all time) but I did notice that this ball does dig harder than a Code X.

Ball Specs
Honey Badger Intensity
Cover: 4000 Grit, S70 Solid Reactive
Weight Block: Grapnel 2.0 (Asymmetric)
Color: Pink/Blue Navy

Review:
The Honey Badger Intensity was the ball that I was instantly excited for when I first heard about it. The Honey Badger line has always been one of the most consistent lines in bowling and because of that it is one of my favorite lines of all time. This ball is very strong but not strong to the point where you cannot control the ball. This ball is very smooth rolling and packs a hard punch when it hits the pins. This ball is in the 700 series for 900 Global but performers more like the 900 series bowling balls meaning you are really getting your bang for your bucks. This is another ball that is great on both tournament conditions or a great first out of the bag for league night. The versatility of that the Honey Badger Intensity offers is not matched by many other bowling balls out there. If you are looking for a smooth rolling solid look no further, head down to your local shop and pick up yours today!

900 Global Honey Badger Intensity
Hey everyone, I’m back with another ball review, and this time it’s for the 900 Global Honey Badger Intensity and In 15 pounds this ball is wrapped in the S70 Solid Reactive Coverstock and comes 4000-grit with an RG of 2.54, Diff of .048, and a PSA of .012 with a layout of 4½ X 4 X 1½
As you know by now that the 900 Global brand is now part of Storm/Roto Grip. This is great news for everyone as we can now throw all three brands. Exciting news for me as I have never thrown a 900 Global before and had no prior thoughts of how the ball should roll or react. This ball is in the “Tour Preferred - 700 Series” which is in the third of four lines. So after I burned up a spot from bigger balls like a Storm Proton Physix or Roto Grip RST-X1 I found the HB Intensity with its combination of a medium cover and Asymmetric core is a great matchup when the lanes have some play on them or later in a block. I see this ball to be very versatile for many types of players. This is a very easy ball to throw and I found it very easy to watch its ball motion going down the lane and through the pins.

900 Global's Honey Badger Intensity continues the same legendary shape and performance from the rest of the HB series. This iteration combines the strong-but-controlled S70 Solid reactive coverstock at a 4000-grit surface with the Grapnel 2.0 asymmetric core, which combines mild asymmetry with a medium-level RG (2.54 RG, 0.048 diff, 0.012 int diff in 15#) to give you some tunability and punch without the restrictions of aggressive, highly asymmetric cores. This package gives a big-ball feel without needing a flood of oil to be able to use it - if you're in something like an !Q Tour Solid but need just a bit of extra giddyup in the midlane, this will fit the bill perfectly.

HB intensity has a really unique shape for a heavier volume ball. Kind of a skid flip on higher volume patterns allowing you to play different angles for longer. It tends not to hook to early when the pattern starts to break down which allows me to stay with this ball longer.
I think this ball would be a great step down from the reality when it gets to be to be to much. Think this HB is going to be great ball on a verity of patterns allowing this to be a great choice for your tournament bag. You also can’t beat that price point !!!

New addition to the Tour Preferred 700 Series is the solid cover HB Intensity. Impressive, Benchmark ball with the ability to handle multiple conditions except extreme heavy/dry. 70S cover adapts to cover changes depending on your style and oil pattern.
Mine is still in box condition. i have used the HB exclusively in league only over the last month and would consider this release an A+ on THS. Much smoother rounded shape compared to my HB Revival. Not as strong as the Reality (weaker MB) without sacrificing carry.
Any style of bowler will be able to play numerous angles though out league and tournament conditions.

Being New to 900global i had to drill up a badger to see if it would live up to the hype. This ball/line is everything it was made out to be. Its not all talk this ball is something special. This ball is one of my new all time favorites, for being a smaller asymmetric core really gets through the middle part of the lane and has a ton of pop off the spot. If you're looking to branch out and try a 900global ball i highly recommend this ball. Get to your local pro shop and pick one of these up, you don't want to sleep on this ball.
