The 900Global Truth Tour bowling ball was created to offer control. The S78R coverstock formulation gives the bowler traction in the oil and control on the dry. The Adaptor/C core is designed to boost control when facing medium to heavy oil conditions. 900Global lowered the diff and raised the RG of this ball to assist it in getting through the heads and maintain a strong and controlled reaction on the backend.

Color: Black
Core: Adaptor/C LD Symmetric
Coverstock: S78R Solid
Finish: ICE “E” 3,000 Grit
Recommended Lane Condition: Medium to Heavy Oil
RG: 2.53 (for 15# ball)
Differential: 0.038 (for 15# ball)

Drilling pattern: 85 x 4.5 x 40
Pin position: Above bridge

I've had great success in the past with the original Truth and Truth Pearl, each with the same drilling I put on the Truth Tour, so I was hoping to repeat that success with this ball. I don't have a very high ball speed and the aggressive cover on the Truth Tour starts up very early for me. What I did notice though is that while it does start up very early, it doesn't stop. The ball does have very good continuation downlane and that rolly backend we've grown accustomed too. I was able to use this ball at the USBC OC during the start of minor events with very solid results. I would say if you are a speed dominant player, or low rev player, looking for a benchmark ball, this would be a fantastic choice. However, my only caution is that some head oil seems to be necessary to get the best results.

Strong, Continuous predictable motion

The Truth Tour introduces the all-new S78R coverstock.  This ball provides you with that strong predictable motion we as bowlers seek on tougher lane conditions. When throwing it I had a hard time ever trying to get this ball to over react in the dry.  It also allowed me to move into the oil and still have the needed hitting power at the pins.  This is a stronger more versatile piece than the X2 in my opinion.  This ball will help you score regardless of how hard a pattern can play.  Get one and see for yourself!  This is my go to Tournament ball.  It goes when I go because I always know I will be able to keep things in front of me regardless.

Type: Sport (USBC Team Event Syracuse NY)

Likes:The Truth Tour is a very versatile ball for medium to heavy oil conditions. The medium Rg (2.53) Medium Diff (.038) and 3000 ICE surface will give any player a good benchmark ball. The Adapter/C core allows for a variety of drillings to provide the bowler with the look/shape they want whether it's on a house shot or more difficult pattern. Surface is easily modified with either scuff pads or polish. In the USBC team event I was able to use the Truth Tour for all 3 games just by moving my feet as the lanes transitioned.

LANE CONDITION

Truth Tour
Coverstock: S78R Solid
Finish: ICE "E" Pad (3,000 Grit)
Core: Adaptor/C LD Symmetric core
RG: 2.53
Differential: 0.038

Layout: 40 x 5 1/2 x 40
Tester:  PAP 5 1/2 R, 1 1/2 D

The Truth Tour provides lots of traction with the OOB finish and is designed for control off the breakpoint.  This one I recommend for longer patterns and for situations where the player is bowling on harder surfaces with lots of volume.  I used the Truth Tour on Autobahn and as well as Shark. The control and continuation through the pins gives this one a nice place in the bag as a benchmark ball for longer patterns. I recommend this one for the player looking for an edge on the fresh. This ball is nice to have. I actually hit mine with 2000 to get it to roll more consistently for me. I let the lane shine take over a little. Another great ball 900 Global came out with. I have mine drilled pin down. (1st 900 Global ball to be drilled that way) Rolls very even indeed, very happy with it.
