- Description: The Bank features our newest core design “Self Righting Core” (SRC). The SRC is both homogeneous in nature and also mono-monostatic. The unique core shape contains only one stable point. Unlike all other cores in the industry the SRC core will always move and twist to its stable position regardless of how or where it is placed. It will right it self!
Our testing indicated that when in rotation the core shape easily moves without resistance or hesitation in seeking the stable spot helping give the bank greater ease in transitioning through the phases of ball motion. Other cores on the market that have multiple stable, or flat spots, must expend additional energy to move off of that position and thus not efficiently and effectively optimize energy transfer to yield maximum ball reaction. The SRC, once in motion, does not need to expend additional energy to seek its sole stable position and therefore creates optimum ball reaction for the bowler.
An additional benefit of the SRC is the value of the “Moment Arm”. The moment arm measures the likelihood of a force to rotate an object about any given axis. The larger the moment arm the greater amount of loping and imbalance forces the core will have during rotation. This effect leads to increased energy retention. The SRC has the greatest moment arm available. The combination of having the greatest moment arm and only one stable point creating the least resistance gives The Bank a unique and powerful motion. Just got a Bank ball. I'm a stroker with average ball speed (about 12mph). I had the ball drilled to the strong layout for heavily oiled lanes on 900 Global's drilling sheet. Left the surface in OOB condition. This ball's reaction is drastically different than any of my other bowling balls. It's almost impossible to throw a straight ball with my Bank. I used it the first time last night for league bowling. I got 160, 180 and 224 (572 series). With my other bowling balls I was lucky if I got 150. Does anyone know if the rumors about 900 Global's financial troubles are true? Does this mean they're going out of business already? This would be absolutely shocking since they make the best bowling balls in existence.

Likes:   I have been using my bank ball on several house shot before and always needed to play very deep and really swing out the ball to just hit pocket.  It got to a point that this ball is going to be too strong on any shot I every come across and figured it would work on only very heavy shots. 
Well during this summer I'm doing a PBA sport shot league and this ball finally has a chance to shine for me!!.  Using this ball on the Scorpion pattern the Bank made the pattern a lot less intimadating than normal.  It's drilled pin down with the cg way far outside of palm with a very low weight hole below thumb, right handed.  I throw lefty so this drilling is very weak for me.  This Bank ball really was a pleasure to use on this shot.  Standing on 17 and just coming up the back of the ball the bans rolled very clean and the natural backend of the ball did everything else.  This ball stayed hitting hard and carried very well when I was even near pocket.  During the third game I moved in 5 boards and came around the ball still getting it out to 3 at the breakpoint and this thing still made it back and hit very hard.   
Very strong ball Global and I really enjoyed using it.  Makes me want to try out the pearl version!!!

Dislikes:   The strength of this ball is awesome and bad.  Too strong for most house conditions but perfect for any heavy sport condition.

Dislikes: I got the ball for super aggressive. But the ball does not hook in heavy it is made for med to dry lanes. According do the customer service rep "DALE" he said the too much tape in the ball was makeing the ball not hook. Then I talked to "Erik" and he said the ball will try too hook in the 1st 10 ft of oil and then burn out. Which means it is NOT for heavy oil. And the excuses they gave me made me feel they do not stand behind their bowling balls. So i will never buy another ball from them again. Good luck if you buy and thing from them ever again.

Like:  This ball is a beast of the breakpoint but still has a smooth predictable roll.  Shot my 1st 800 series with this ball (280, 256, 268 = 804).


Dislikes:  Needs head oil.

I have had my Bank for 2 years, and personally, it's the ball I can use to figure out what I need to do. Usually, it's "Keep this ball in your hands". Drilled it 65x4.5x40. OOB, it is enough to tackle almost any oil pattern. House shot, better move left, and feed it to the friction. USBC pattern, able to play straight up 5 and keep migrating left all night.

It's the balls ability to read the middle part of the lane that is great. Doesn't roll out ever, and I do mean ever. Ever since drilling a Bank Roll the exact same way, I polished the Bank to 4000 then Factory Finish, and it's much more usable on the medium side of things now. It's a good 8 boards less than the Bank Roll, which is good.
