The New 900 Global War Eagle uses the previous Eagle core but with one variance the RG has been raised and the differential lowered. This change causes the ball to flare about an inch less and roll much smoother than the previous eagles. I drilled the ball like my previous eagles 4” x 4” x 2” and used it on a fresh house pattern and found that I had to play a little further right to start than the two previous Eagles. The big plus was that I was able to chase the shot in without having to switch balls and my carry became much better. This ball fits right in behind the other two eagles and is a welcome addition to anybody’s arsenal. This ball will do very well at this year’s USBC Tournament in Reno.

The War Eagle is by far the best ball I've ever owned. A beautiful
roll to the pocket, which compliments the Black Eagle with style and
grace. Not to mention the great blue/red coverstock, which is a great
swirl going down the lane. Used it on multiple lane conditions with
excellent results. Very strong force towards the pocket. Laid it out
with pin over fingers, and CG kicked left of thumb (Lefty). Averaged
251 for 15 games in a tournament recently with it. If you're looking
for a ball with a not too dull, not too polished finish, look at the
900 Global War Eagle. Also, look for it to be tearing up the USBC Open
this season. Check out my 900 Global/AMF Product videos on youtube,

#15 War Eagle
axis point 3 5/8"
tweener, 15mph
Lane Conditions - THS, Sport & Kegel Challenge
Lane Surface - Synthetic, AMF, Brunswick
Surface of bowling ball: Factory/Polish
What grit was the surface of the ball? Box, 4000 T pad
Likes: Nice skid/flip ball, carries the half hits!
Dislikes: None

The new War Eagle is, by far, the closest to the Original Break I personally have seen!  The predecessors of the WE, the BO and other 2 Eagle's for me had earlier roll more hook but for my style had trouble matching up.  The WE has more skid up front and flip on the back resulting in more strikes for me!  290, 740 OOB on THS.  The 290 was the 3rd game when they had really broke, playing 5th arrow I see this as a USBC gem for me!  Drilled it 5 x 4, right over label MB directly under my thumb.  Haven't touched the surface, doubt I will unless I get another.  This ball carries the half hits like I haven't seen in years!  Really great piece of equipment from 900 Global.  A niche ball big time!  For me, I can pull it out every 2nd or game game, when the lanes have opened a little or on drier shots.  The WE will fit many styles in my opinion.  This IS the ball you need before you head to Reno!

Likes:This ball is a winner from the color down to the performance!  Global hit an absolute home run when it comes to the War Eagle.  I haven’t had this ball for very long, and it’s already bailed me out of a lot of tougher situations.  This ball has such a strong reaction down lane; I haven’t seen anything like it in a long time!  Being left handed I rarely have to move inside the lane to find something scorable.  The War Eagle lets me move in and just swing the ball to the left and have amazing recovery.   This ball has turned a lot of heads, and the more I see being thrown the more honor scores and titles I see being won.  I can’t tell you how hard this ball gets through the pins and how much damage it creates in the pin deck.  I won’t bore you with a lot of technical details, just trust me…you want one of these.  You don’t even need to miss with the cover out of the box, just have it drilled and start throwing strike after strike!  Amazing ball Global, keep them coming!

Dislikes: Not a single thing!

Likes:If you only get one more ball for the rest of your bowling career make sure that ball is the War Eagle! This ball has to be one of the best balls I’ve thrown from 900 Global. I have found the War Eagle to work on almost every condition that I have thrown on. From oil to dry the pins do not stand a chance! I have my War Eagle drilled with the pin up. It is clean through the heads and makes a left turn just past mid-lane.  I guarantee there will be a lot of honor scores shot with this ball.

The War Eagle

Layout: 60x 4 5/8x50

The War Eagle has been a breath of fresh air on any pattern I have used it on. Strong midlane that doesn't quit at any point on the lane is something all of us need. On house patterns when I am trying to keep it inside it does great through flood in the middle of the lane, but if I miss out into the dirt it corners strong enough to get the corners out.

On Sport The War Eagle is awesome. I've used it on short and long and it is equally as useable. The cover has ease of length built in and the core revs up towards the end of the pattern no matter how much oil is there or not. I know The Eagle line has nationals in mind with their design. 900Global couldn't be more spot on with this design for nationals. Many bowlers that don't have high revrates have issues at nationals because they can't get right enough to find hold, this ball will allow you to make that move to the outside with confidence. \

Likes:I drilled my War Eagle pin down. This probably the smoothest bowling ball I have owned. Really clean thru the fronts with a strong arcing motion down the lane. The first night of league 279-236-243=758. I could open up the whole lane. I drilled a couple of War Eagles for a couple of avg. league bowlers and they had their best set of the year with it. If you use it on sport patterns you will probably need to move right a little but you will still get that smooth arc that is so easy to read. Great Ball.

Volume: medium/heavy

Drill:  5.5 pin to PAP x 4 CG to PAP, Pin below the fingers

BOWLER STYLE:  Rev rate:  440; Ball Speed:  18

Out of the Box this ball wants to go left.  This is a very nice complement to the Blk Eagle.  When you need I ball to move that extra 10 boards this is the one, it always wants to go left!  Very nice one-two punch to add this ball behind your Blk Eagle.  After throw the ball for two months w/ OOB finish I decided to polish it and WOW.  The polish allowed the ball to store more energy and recover stronger.  The Eagle line is great and all have a smooth arc and the War Eagle is no different just stronger!  Another great smooth easy to read ball from 900 Global.
