Description: The Benchmark ball for Seniors. The Wisdom provides Senior bowlers with a ball that will fit slower ball speeds but yet still have power, and most importantly control down lane. By using a high Rg with a medium differential core, and a milder S65 pearl cover, the Wisdom will not over react and give Seniors exactly what they desire, a performance ball that fits their game!

COMMENTS

This ball is one of my current favorites and almost always the first out of my bag in tournaments. This ball handles a moderate amount of oil but doesnt over react off friction. I love bowling balls that offer me control and this ball gives me a consistent and accurate read at all times on a multitude of patterns.

Very good ball. It always recover. It's gets down the lanes clean. It's good for mid light oil to dry lanes. The wisdom has a good roll to the pocket.

Thanks goes out to Eric as always in providing a test ball, I've had the Wisdom for over a month, thrown it on old beat up wood surface and new (4 yr old ) Pro Anvil surfaces. The first thing you notice is no matter what the lane surface is or the volume of oil is, the ball hooks, this is not by any means a ball only for older gentleman, it is a ball that will fit any bowlers game !! Billed as a medium oil ball, higher rev players will get more out of it than the straighter players, the Wisdom is just consistent shot after shot.

The medium rg core (2.54) allows the ball to rev easily off the hand, the polished surface gives it easy length up front, while the medium rg diff .041 has enough recovery to come home on wide targeting issues. The biggest asset  of the Wisdom is the cover stock, the S-65 pearl is strong enough to recover on wide shots, provides enough friction to be strong, but best of all under control, a true control pearl. Rolls great, more hook than advertised, at a very attractive price point.

I got my wisdom from the strike city pro shop in brunswick zone carolier in new brunswick, nj. I had the ball drilled pun over the bridge with the cg in line in the middle of the grip. On the second day of rolling tje ball, I shot 745 with it. I was playing 15 to 10 on the boards. My speed is about 11mph, avetage revs, and a 45 degree axis on ball release. I must say that the ball got down the lane very nicely and had a good move off the dry boards. The ball did not flip but hit really well, as with all 900 global balls. I just bought a seond ball and am having it drilled pin over the finger and cg slightly kicked out. Keep up the good work 900 global.

Likes:  The color for one, that is always a big thing for me.  If it doesn't look cool I don't want it.  900 Global does a great job of pouring balls with tons of shelf appeal.  As for ball reaction, I went with my fav layout and on this ball, 4x4 pin up, it gave me good length, good read and good overall ball motion.  I took mine out of the box and immediately took it to the spinner  I took to factory shine off and left at what is supposed to be like 4000 Abralon.  I actually used the NEAT pads and finished with the A.  It looks like a matte finish but still pretty smooth.  With that in mind I used it after my Jewel started to hook too much and I need something to square back up with.  BINGO!  It was perfect, the higher RG let the ball push just far enough, even through the worn part of the pattern, and the medium diff gave the oomph to turn the corner.  I have to agree with Tekneek, this ball is NOT just for seniors.  Much like the Jewel, the Wisdom can be drilled to fit just about any game.  Strong layouts with more surface will make this a really good benchmark ball while weaker layouts can make this a good go to ball when the patterns gets burned up.

Dislikes: My biggest dislike is that it is a pearl.  I would like to have this core/cover combo in a solid version.

Likes: The Senior Special - the Wisdom!  Nice little ball for slower speeds and/or drier lanes.  Drilled mine pin up 5" from PAP, my FAV drilling for hooking conditions.  This ball really scoots down the lane and makes a controlled arc/flip on the back.  I found it to be a little more flippy as the lanes broke down and it gave me a good amount of room to miss wide and watch it turn back with authority!  But it was always a readable reaction which is really nice to have on tougher broken down patterns.  Good carry and good looking ball.  For me with a slower ball speed I can also push the envelope and use it on a fresh THS shot up the track.  No early hook and a nice recovery made it real easy to use on a wet/dry house pattern.

Dislikes: Heavy oil and/or carrydown.

Likes:I recieved a 5 inch for this ball, so i drilled it pin above the ring 2.5 inches. The Wisdom is great for when the lanes are drier and you need a little more then the hook ball. This ball helps me because i have alot of revs but my ball speed average, i could move left of 20 and swing it out and still have enough on the ball to get back to the pocket. This ball is very good for low rev and slower ball speed players, just not for seniors players.
