I would like to thank the guys at 900 Global for this ball. In my opinion, the NUTS is going to be the go to ball on the late shift house patterns due to the fact that this ball saves so much energy for the backend. This coverstock doesn't skid too much and reads the heavier oil that is in the middle on the houseshots. I think this ball will be very versatile on pba experience patterns such as, the chameleon and scorpion. I drilled this ball with a controlled drilling pattern for myself. My pap is 5 15/16 x 5/16up. I have an Eagle with the exact same layout and in comparing the two balls, the Nuts is about two to three boards less overall hook than the Eagle. I think this ball is a must have for any league bowler or bowler in a usbc/pba league. I have attached a picture of the Nuts ball. I think a 5x4 layout would be excellent for house shots for most bowlersDislikes:

I drilled this ball to compliment my eagle so they have the same layout of pin over the middle finger and mass bias just right of the thumb. My nuts is a little more angular and doesnt cover as many boards which is what my intention was. The great thing about this ball is its a little more manipulative and useable on more patterns. Where my eagle reads earlier this ball goes a little longer and provides alot of angle on a majority of all patterns.

Very awesome ball. I love the reaction on the nuts. It's get down the lane very clean. You can play straight up when there is oil. It's very good for oily to mid to lanes. It's very strong when there is backends.

Likes: The Nuts, S70 (Black Break) cover - what's not to like right?! I was excited to throw this ball after reading the expected reaction. Sounded like a REAL souped up version of the original Black. It's all that and more! Good midlane and a hard arc/flip. This T NEAT finish looks super polished but the Nuts wants to hook. More midlane roll than I figured. I can use it on heavier patterns. Carries the half hit real well. Drilled it pin up 5" from PAP which is my fav drilling. Continuous, not crazy backend like OMG Pearl but still has plenty of pop. Versatile cover should make is user friendly for Kegel Challenge conditions. On the Broadway pattern Nuts gave me a good look and room to miss wide of target. Excellent medium to heavy ball from 900 Global. NEAT finish is cool and innovative!!

Likes:Drilled this ball 1.5 below my finger in the middle of my bridge with mass bias to the right and under my thumb. This ball is very strong and hits like a truck, i can really open the lane up with this ball. This ball is smoother in the midlane and strong backend.I have not bowled anything under 725 since i started using this ball.

Layout – 4 X 4.75; pin through the middle finger, 200 shine; 16 lbs.

This ball compliments the Hook perfect. It is a little stronger overall. It gets through the fronts extremely clean, but reads the lane a little sooner than the Hook. The Nut’s makes a much more stable motion that the Hook, and is not as continuous. For this reason the ball is a good option to start with on typical house patterns. I also found that it is in excellent choice in playing the gutter on some of these short patterns (i.e. Board Walk and Cheetah) because the motion is stable and it is easy to make stop on the backend part of the lane simply by altering wrist positions slightly and staying up the back of it a little more.

Very strong motion off of the end of the oil pattern. I like the versatility of this ball. The NUTS has the "it" factor. It's very receptive to hand position adjustments and surface adjustments as well. This ball is a monster on THS patterns. It doesn't squirt through the break point and provides a very strong back end motion.

COMMENTS

This ball is usually my benchmark ball. It is supposed to be
the strongest backend ball in the 900 line up but for me it is the strongest
all around ball in their lineup. This
ball has a TON of back end, second only to the Nuts Pearl. This ball can be thrown
on heavier and longer patterns but due to the shiny OOB finish you will have to
play straighter then with the Bank Roll.

On a 40ft 90 Unit THS I start this ball playing 13 at the
arrows out to 5 at the break point.

Likes: Usually this is the first ball out of my bag. Of all my equipment this ball gets the most use. I bowl at two different centers, with one center being a late league and the other on a fresh shot. At times it gets to be too much ball for the late league but usually works great at the other place. I have also had the chance to use it on a couple of the Kegal patterns. The ball offers good length with a very strong move at the breakpoint. I still have a profit from last year and to me this is a stronger ball. I drilled the ball with a 4" pin, mass bias kicked out slightly. (65 degrees) To this date I have probably put about 50 games on the ball. Performance is great.
