The new 900 Global Zen25 the rebirth of the original Zen in the new RB 83 cover stock along with AI Core technology. This ball is that big pearl for higher volumes of oil. When this ball was announced I was really excited to put this in my bag. It hasn’t disappointed me with its performance. Using the layout of 60x5x30 the Zen25 has quickly become a go to ball on league nights. Reads the midlane the with ease and pops off the spot. 900 Global’s new Zen25 is a Pearl Symmetrical piece that is good for Medium Volume patterns.  PAP is 5 5/16 R 1 3/16 Up. Rev Rate: 400.  Speed: 16.5.  Drilled this piece with the Pin up between the fingers and  CG kicked out 1” from the palm.  I threw this piece on a Left Over and Fresh house pattern.  Out of Box ball motion started in the mids with a sharp backend reaction through the pins.  I compared this to the Xponent Pearl & Origin.  Xponent Pearl was 2-2 Right with a smoother backend reaction.  Origin was 2-2 Left with a smother backend reaction.  This piece fits between the two pieces I compared this too.  This piece will be good for all types of styles.

The original Zen, while utilizing the Meditate Symmetrical Core, has a similar pearl coverstock (S77 Response Pearl Reactive), but produces a slightly smoother overall motion with less sharpness on the backend compared to the Zen 25, which has been refined for more angularity and stronger continuation. Overall, the Zen 25 offers more power and versatility than the Sublime and the original Zen, making it a better option for bowlers looking for a more dynamic, angular reaction. The Zen 25 is 900 Globals newest piece. The Zen 25 features the same mediate core found in the previous Zen line balls but is now wrapped in RB 83 pearl and finished with power edge. This creates a cleaner and more responsive Zen compared to the OG. The OG for me was a little too early and forward for me to use on a variety of patterns. I believe the Zen 25 is going to be the perfect game 3 league ball when i need to move left and open the lane up. Stop into any Storm VIP pro shop and order your own today!

Ok all, I love this ball!!! If you had the original Zen or not, this ball is amazing. Right out of the box, Yes i shot a 300 with it. This ball rolls very well.
Featuring the brand-new RB 83™ Pearl Reactive coverstock and the trusted Meditate™ Symmetric weight block with A.I. Core. Right out of the box with the Power Edge finish, it fits in my bag PERFECT, If you had the Zen, the Zen 25...to me, read the lane sooner, and had more of a cleaner back end. I had mine drilled with the pin in my middle finger. Stood 27 with my feet, looked around 16 - 17 at the arrows, break point around 8...and yeah it carried very well. Yes I shot a 300 and a 764 series on synthetic lanes, then last night I subbed on a Friday league with wooden lanes and shoot a 769 series. Only thing I had to watch is if I got in in the oil and didn't get it out as far, it didn't hook enough. If I got it right too early, it hooked a little too much. That's why I like watching the mid lane and the way a ball reads. I love the way this ball looks and how it reacts both on wooden lanes and synthetic lanes.

The most popular release in the Global line was without question the Zen. So what would a Zen look like with A.I. technology? We had to know, so along comes the Zen 25. Featuring the Mediate core with Amplified Intertia technology and a new cover called RB 83 Pearl the Zen 25 is what we've been missing. A replacement for one of the greatest balls ever made.

I spent some time prior to drilling mine researching what other thought about it. I really wanted to get it as close to my original zen as I could. I was a little surprised that some people felt it gave them the same look they had with the original and others felt it was a little cleaner and a little more off the spot. My original worry was that the AI addition would cause it to get forward too soon. I decided to use the exact same numbers I had used on my original Zen and I'm glad I did.

I tested the Zen 25 for the first time in league. I decided to save it for the transition in game 2 and my only regret for the night ended up being that I didn't get into it right away. The ball has the trademark Zen shape for me. It's a little earlier than you would expect with an incredibly consistant mid-lane motion and the smooth continuous down-lane finish that was the trademark of the original Zen. I didn't personally see any noticeable difference it terms of length and shape down-lane compared to my original. The one big difference is the color and I think that's an improvement. This ball really has has great shelf appeal.

For anyone who didn't have the pleasure of throwing the original zen, it's popularity was due in large part to it's versatility. It was a ball that matched up with many different lane conditons and styles of play. You'll get the same from the zen 25. For pro shop guys it should be the staple that you love. It's a go to for any style player and you can be confident that your customers will be happy with what they are buying.

The Zen 25 features the Meditate core that was so good in the original Zen, with the AI outer core featured in all the new SPI balls.  This gives this ball in 14# a nice low RG or 2.49 with a differential of .053 - meaning it rolls earlier and has the potential to flare a lot.  The new RB 83 pearl coverstock should be a touch stronger than the S77 on the original Zen.

I tested this ball on a house shot and found it to be predictable but still strong.  It's just a little stronger and rolls a touch earlier than the original Zen. I think anyone who really liked the original will like the Zen 25.  I will use this as about the third ball out of the ball as the lanes transition or any time I need something clean but strong in the mid lane.

I like the motion on this ball, as it reminds me a little of one of my all time favorites the Marvel Pearl.  Both balls have very controlled motion in the mid lane but are still responsive at the back due to the pearl covers.

I compared the Zen 25 to a Harsh Reality Pearl with at 1500 Power Edge finish to give this ball the same surface.  The Harsh Pearl has a stronger core and cover, so this creates a little more shape.  On the house shot there wasn't much difference in hook, but on a sport pattern the Harsh Pearl will be the ball above the Zen 25.

This ball will fit right in the middle of the bag as a medium pearl and will be predictable enough to use on most sport patterns.  This should be one of the most popular balls of 2025.
