The King Cobra utilizes the standard light bulb core and boy does it deliver! With its F55 cover at 4K abralon, it will easily cover a lot of boards. I was able to play multiple angles on both a THS and Sport Shots. It was able to push through the heads, read the midlane great, but wasn't jumpy off the dry and had a strong, controllable backend. I was able to get deeper with this ball as compared to the Favorite. For me, this ball is super versatile. 1st ball out of the bag and if you need to move into the oil with it, you won't have any issues with backend recovery. Every bowler should have this type of ball in his/her lineup. Great benchmark ball and then some! If you are getting an early mid-lane read with your aggressive ball, don't hesitate, pull out the King Cobra for a little more length and a great move off the dry.
