We received this ball on Monday and punched it up for one of our employees. Marv is a straighter player, his axis coordinates are 5 3/8 up 1/4. He has about 30 degrees axis rotation with medium ball speed. The ball came in with only a half inch pin so we drilled it 5 1/4 x 5 1/4. Needless to say this ball had a very smoothe roll and allowed Marv to move back to the right where he feels comfortable. For such a lower priced item this ball gave him great hitting power along with control. I would compare this ball to the Columbia Scout Reactives, accept that it is not as much skid/flippy down the lane. The coverstock does not come in with as much of shine as the Jade and Black/Red Scouts. This ball is a great addition to the AMF line, giving bowlers a lesser hooking ball, but still maintaining hitting power.

GOT THIS BALL DRILLED TO GO STRAIGHT FOR TX STATE TOURNAMENT HEARD THE LANES WERE REALLY SCORCHED IT ONLY HAS A 1/2 INCH PIN SO WE DID THE MEASURMENTS AND GAVE THIS BALL A NEGATIVE PIN PLACEMENT ALMOST DIRECTLY BELOW MY MIDDLE FINGER UNLESS YOU BOWL ON DIRT DON'T USE THIS PATTERN ANY OIL AT ALL AND IT'S ALL SKID I HAD TO SCUFF MINE WITH 400 GRIT TO MAKE IT ROLL UP DON'T KNOW WHAT I'M GOING TO DO WITH BALL WHEN THE LANES ARE REALLY DRY IT ROLLS GREAT AND HITS VERY HARD BUT I VERY SELDOM GET THAT AT THE HOUSES WHERE I BOWL I MAY JUST HAVE TO KEEP THIS ONE FOR EMERGENCIES TOTAL SCORE 6 OF 10 IT DID WHAT IT WAS SUPPOSED TO DO BUT DOESN'T FIT MY GAME FOR WHERE I BOWL

I needed a ball that didnt hook, and this is it. Got this ball from an AMF rep. who I sub for in his league and he said I needed something to play outside with, cause a lot of times I hook it too much and cant get far enough right sometimes when needed. We drilled it with the pin just below the ring finger to give it some backend and thats about all it does. Tested it out on my normal house shot which is about 40 top hat 8 to 8 spread, light outside medium in the middle, pretty easy in most people's eyes. With all of my Storm equipment, I can play anywhere from 3rd to 5th arrow depending on the ball, but with the Kick I play 1st arrow only. Gets through the heads really well, picks up roll in the midlane and makes a smooth turn on the backend. The thing that surprised me though was if I hit it clean, the balls hits like a truck! I do leave a lot of wrap 7 pins, but that is alright cause I would rather wrap 7's all day than go through the face and leave the big 4. Shot 620 in league first night out with it and was very pleased with the results. After league went down to a fresh pair that hadnt been bowled on all day for a little practice and in the first game had the first 9 before I left, of course, a 7 pin. 279 on a fresh shot with a ball I didnt expect a whole lot out of really made my day, so from now on if I needed a dry lane ball, or when I feel like playing outside, the Kick is the way to go. I give it a 9 out of 10, more or less cause I shot 279 with it and didnt fiure I would. Great job AMF.
