AMF has created the next level an Asymmetrical version of there benchmark ball, The Code.
The Nkryption Code is  earlier and sharper off the break point  creating a more angular Roll  path to pocket.
I’m told Greater angle of entry means more strike potential on off-pocket hits.
If So The Nkryption Code  ball Has it to boot.
The  Nkrytion Code is powerfully forgiving  add to a continuous arcing reaction
The new Nkryption  Plus Reactive Coverstock provides the traction, while the new core design provides the motion for outstanding performance with control And hit
A very versatile ball for mediums and oily conditions
My  worries with the ball was  it’s hard arcing motion form Mid Lane  to the pocket .
But to my surpise
Nkryption action was consistent I was able to keep the ball under control.at all time
TheNkryption   Ball Hitting Power is second to none
Smooth controllable roll, strong even arc, good enough carry to kick out a lot of stubborn corner pins.

Ball spec's 15.2 3" pin 2 3/4" top
My profile: speed 14-16mph, power stroker rt hand.

Lane surface, wood, overlays and AMF synthetic.

Drilling: 4 x 3 small wt hole, box finish, 1st ball.  Second ball pin up 12 o'clock - 2000 abralon.

The NEW Nkryption Code, the upgrade in hook to the original Code is just that - MORE BALL!  This asymmetrical version hooks quite a bit more - earlier and more on the backend.  I've had a chance to drill 2 of these.  The first I drilled pin up. 12 o'clock, cg swung out, low wt hole.  I have a lower roll so we loaded it up to hook for me.  It actually hooked too much, too early if you can believe it.  I needed lots of head oil to get it to store enough energy.  It was great on fresh but I had to put it away as the broke down.  Great for someone needing lots of hook, especially early.  Now the second one we drilled tamer, ping snuggled up right next to my ring finger, cg middle of palm, mass bias directly under my thumb - box finish!  Now here was a boomer!  This thing revs up, stores energy and hits/flips a ton!  Real impressive reaction for me.  I can get in and swing this thing out for a stellar snap OR keep it tight in the oil and still get it to finish strong into the pocket.  The carry is very good - slaps 10's, blows them off the wall and caves in the 4.  I'd say this is a great oil ball that's not too hard on the pocket book.

This is the most hook from AMF in a long time.  It will be a winner - give it a try!

Picked this ball up as a 2nd from Tekneek. I don't remember exaxt speds on ball but memory says it was 15lb 2 oz, 15/8 pin and 2.02 top. The blem was that the cg was 90 degrees left of the pin if you connected a line from the pin to the mass bias. II drilled this ball 4 1/2 x 4 1/2mb pin under ring. Ending weights were 3/8 neg side 1/2 finger n 1/2 bottom. Out of box with my low ball speed the ball grabbed the lane too soon and would not allow me to get to my desired break point. Added a light coat of Brunswick high gloss polish and now i have unleashed a beast,The ball glides through the heads with ease , moves smoothly through the mids and a nice strong arc to the pocket with great continuation theough the pin deck. As far as an asymetrical ball goes this one would be a great benchmark ball.I have plyed around with it in 3 different houses so far 1 wood and 2 synthetic and the ball is very consistent in its reaction in all 3. Great colors! Great reaction. Control and predictabilaty. What more could you want. A great big brother to the original code which when you combine the 3 makes a great 1-2 punch

Just drilled my Nkryption code up stacked leverage.  I am a high rev high speed player.  Didn't like the bal the 1st 10 or 12 throws in practice.  It didn't move much, thought it was just another ball that I was going to have to play outside with.  I put the ball on the bottom rack, threw my other stuff,  (Rapid fire, Angular one, Fired up, Momentum swing)  really didn't good reaction from any of them.  So I decided to throw my benchmark ball Momentum swing.  But right before practice was over I picked up my Nkryption code just one more time just to see, and blew the rack harder ( seriously then any ball I ever threw)  So i said well I'll start with it and see what happens.

I ended up shooting 682, threw it the next night shot 690.  I am avg 220, 224, 227 in three differnt lges, so it wasn't great two nights, BUT  that was due to me being brainless and not the ball.  I have only left one  2 10 pins with it.  This ball just blows the rack.  Its my first AMF ball in my 14 yrs of bowling, and wit hthe way this ball hits it wont be my last.

As far as reaction, when I first started with it I believe I just wasn't warmed up.  Was throwing 15- (4-6) didnt have to move all night, and when this ball makes its move its just gone!

Great ball, Storm and other companies get more hype, but the pins do not know what type of ball is which, give this ball a chance you wont be sorry, going for good price to right now on ebay, won my action for 90$ including shipping.

The ball: 16 pounds, 4-inch pin, X-out for severely out of line MB (at 10 o'clock to pin-CG angle). Top weight of 2.25 oz.
The drill: Girard layout (pin at 7 o'clock 1.5 inches under the thumb hole, CG in grip center). Due to X-out position of MB, the MB is in the typical spot in the thumb-positive quadrant. Works out to a 7 x 4.5 x 3.5 (pin/CG/MB) drill for me. No weight hole. Surface is box grit plus heavy application of Storm ReactaShine.
Me: PAP 4 over 3/8 up, tweener revs, good speed, high axis rotation and low tilt.

---

I bought this ball for a couple of reasons, one being that I hadn't tried any of AMF's new releases beyond the Heist series, which are fairly mild balls. The other was that I needed a third ball for a three-ball "Girard arsenal" to fit between a Columbia Reaction Roll and an old AMF Bull Whip.

Information on the Girard layout system can be found here: http://www.bowlingball.com/info/unique-layout-pin-under-thumb-in-track.html . It is basically a drilling utilized to be able to play straighter in the front of the lane and manage the breakpoint. It suits my game wonderfully.

I selected an X-out Nkryption Code for this application, and after receiving the ball found the MB to be way out of line with the pin-CG line. Looking at the ball with the pin in an above-the-bridge position and the CG in a grip-center position, the MB would have been somewhere around the upper bowtie. But after reversing the ball to put the pin under the thumb, the MB marker ended up where MB markers typically do -- in the thumb-positive quadrant.

After drilling, I gave the ball a heavy coating of Storm ReactaShine over the stock grit. The maroon/purple and green pearl in the coverstock really look good shined up. Nearly all of the AMF/900Global balls are at or near the top of looks list right now.

As for performance, a Girard layout restricts the ability to swing the ball somewhat due to how it makes the ball roll, but this ball plus the polish on it makes it more useful and versatile than either my Reaction Roll (heavy oil only) or Bull Whip (light oil only).

The first thing you notice about this ball is the impressive drive it gets off the spot. I'm sure the polish was what allowed this to be possible, but the hook shape and move is still impressive. Once this ball sees friction and starts to come off the spot, it does so with a violent urgency I haven't seen from a solid in some time.

The best attribute, though, was carry. Using a Girard layout on a ball tends to change the path through the pins, so I'm not sure how much of this was due to the ball and how much of it was due to the drill pattern. But this ball carries the world on high hits. Light hits are only average, but this ball trips 4s and 6s on a regular basis, almost to the point you can plan for it.

There aren't any real standout negatives about this ball, unless you are expecting something you can use on medium-dry, because this ball is too strong for that. But on mediums to medium-heavy, this ball shines and should be pretty versatile with different surface preps.

---

The good: Incredible carry on high hits, takes surface changes well, great shelf appeal.
The bad: Carry on light hits is just adequate, can't handle medium-light without a much weaker drill pattern.
Overall: Probably the best AMF-labeled ball in the past five years, at least -- a monster for mediums and the ideal benchmark ball.

COMMENTS
Just brought this ball for my mom, and she love it, me personally I love bowling with something different from what other bowlers bowl with. I have enjoyed watching my mom roll with this ball, because it's hard for her to like anything but her Messenger. She is tickle pink with this one, so finally I got something she like and actually use every week.
Likes:Room for error, cover can be adjusted without losing life or reaction

Dislikes: None so far
