I have 2 of these drilled up in my arsenal. I am a stroker that throws 18.5-19.0mph. This ball is a very strong particle ball but I still am not convinced it is stronger than the TNT. However these will handle heavy oil and that is what they are made to do.
TV 1- Box specs 15.03, Top 2, Pin 2inches. I have this one drilled 5 1/4 X 3 3/4 Pin is above RF and CG is und and to the right of the RF. This is a nice control drilling for me on the heavier oil patterns. I left factory finish. With this drilling it allows me to play up the boards when they are just soup and stills has energy left to carry very well. When it drys up a little this drilling will allow me to pick up speed a little bit and still play up the boards and that is what I have this one drilled for. Great Heavy oil ball.
TV 2- Box specs 15.02, Top 2 1/4, Pin is 3inches. I have this one drilled with the pin below RF and the CG about 3/4 below midline. Drilling is 4 1/4 x 3 1/4. This one I tried using the factory finish but did not like it at all. It just kept burning up on me. So I experimented a little with the cover. I ended up sanding it to 800 then put some polish on it. Now it gets into a nice early roll through the heads and snaps very hard in the backends. I use this on a medium to heavy wood lanes, Or medium with carrydown. This one I usually play 2nd arrow swinging to first arrow. I can imagine someone with less speed than me would probably be able to use this drilling and keep it with the factory finish.
Overall the Terminal Velocity is a great Heavy Oil ball and would work on anything med to heavy. I would not try getting this ball and using it on med or medium light as it might just burn up on you.
