The Victory SPT is a New entry from AMF!

The New Victory SPT is a combination of past technology to create a new ball for the AMF line-up! The Core is a "Modified" version of what was used in the "Columbia Reaction ARC". (Since Columbia makes the AMF balls, we can have what is called, shared technology).

The Coverstock that is used here is the "Tried and Proven" SPT coverstock used on previous AMF balls!

With this Core and Cover combination you have a great mix that will allow you to have a friendly yet powerful ball!

This ball is what we would call a "Heavy Roller" the weight block design want to get the ball into an early roll, yet the "Fully Adjustable" SPT coverstock keeps the ball going down the lane and retaining good energy for a "Strong Hook" at the break point!

Very Hard hitting! with its controlled "ARCING" style of hook, this ball will conquer heavy oil with the right coverstock adjustment!

Those of you who are "Crankers" will want to keep the drilling of this ball "Very Simple" or Drillings that promote good length! Those of you who are more average in release and speed, (Tweeners) like myself, will find that this ball can be a great ball in our bags, especially for those "Tournament" and "Sport" conditions where you may encounter "Over/Under" lane.

We are recommending this ball to all bowler!

I never threw AMF before I threw this ball last night. Jon the proshop men at Brel-Aire lanes in Piqua, Ohio bought this ball and drilled it up so the ball would go long and have a big backend snap to it. Well me and him fit each others balls and I threw that last night during league. This ball is the bomb. I would recomend this ball to anyone that would want a good length ball. This ball shows me that AMF and Columbia are putting there minds together to bring out a great ball for todays consumer. The lane condition was 10 * 10 when I started to throw my Rock Pearl. Well I tried the 3rd frame of the first game with that Victory and it showed me that this ball has great carry to it. If you hit flush with it....it will react good but if you hit light in the pocket this ball will carry a lot of pins. If you want some information on this ball and I hope you do go to your local proshop and ask them about this ball..if they can't answer it notify me and I will tell you more about it.

Rating (1-10) a 10...this ball is made for today's conditions and everyone would be happy with this.

I must say that the Victory SPT By AMF is one of the best Bowling Balls on the market.  I recently have purchased on about 2 months ago and I must say that this ball is very Impressive.  While I have had some degree in maintaining decent carry with this ball on wood lanes The vicotry SPT is better suited for Synthetick lane conditions.  The Initial Drilling that I Used on this ball was a Lable With the Pin up and for the most pat with that drilling I was averaging about 170 on wood lanes and about 195 on synthetics.  I recently switched to a 5 x 4.5" drilling and witht htat drilling I have been able to add 10 pins to my average on my monday and friday night leagues.  I also find that Sanding the Victory SPT works wonders  on heavily oiled wood lanes
Overall this Ball is the best one that AMF has Made Since it introduced the Old BBlack ANgle over 20 years ago

I'm a right handed full roller.Drilled this 15# ball typical full roller. Pin and C.G. in a 7:30 direction. Pin 2"to center of grip. Wow! Where talking serious backend here.Had to stand on 34& 1/2 targeting 15 out to 5. Shot was a slicker than medium league shot. Everybody else on lanes were blowing thru the breakpoint and washing out. This ball had no trouble making the turn. Got it off e-bay for $60. Great value and tons of hit.

This is one of the oddest balls I've used. I've always been a big fan of AMF balls, dating back to the XS series -- all of them -- and the AmForce series.

The colors on the coverstock were what first caught my eye. I bought this ball and a Hammer Vicious together and had both drilled with the same pattern.

Well, I can say it was better than the Vicious, at least.

The best attribute of this ball is that you can play a wide variety of lane conditions. I've used it on flooded conditions, dry conditions, medium conditions and every misapplication of the lane oiling process in between.

For the most part, I tend to get a fairly predictable shot, until the ball gets to the last 10 feet. Then I get a very pronounced over/under condition. It never seems to finish the same way twice.

I also have carry problems with this ball. As in, it doesn't. I'm not the best 10-pin shooter in the world, but I've gotten a lot of practice the last couple of years thanks to this ball.

I'm about to remove it from my arsenal permanently. I'm considering getting an AMF Velocity in the near future, but this ball has made me question that choice. I hope it's not the start of a trend vis-a-vis AMF equipment.
