Ball NPS Score: Not Available
For Those That Like to Strike Hard
The design team at AMF300 has done it again. Introducing the Terminal Velocityâ„¢. This will be the most aggressive ball to date for AMF300. We have refined proven core technology from the TNTâ„¢ and added a stronger base resin to our strongest particle to date. Hundreds of hours of core/cover development have gone into this project. We at AMF300 know if you are in the market for a strong heavy mid-lane ball that still has the ability to clear the front part of the lane. This is a must have for you.

All I can say is it is about time they finally got this ball on here I emailed them about 2 weeks ago and here it is. This is the second amf that I have ever owned. I have the maximum also. This ball is nothing to sneeze at this is a hooks monster with great carry. I have a 15 lb pin left of my ring and the cg swung a touch to the right and a small balance hole that is drilled till it hit the core!! This ball was layed out by Del Warren and he did an excellent job!! I would recomend this ball to anyone looking for a ball to get threw the soupier conditions!! we have 5 people in our house using them and I havnt heard a comlaint yet!!

Guys I am a very new bowler - probably started bowling 7 months ago.
Joined a league 4 months ago. Went from bowling a 8lb ball (throwing it as hard as i could) to throwing my buddies ball (storm eraser)to buying this ball.

When i first bought this ball it was a hooking monster. Once again excuse my lack of bowling terms - I'm still learning the sport. I loved this ball when i first bought it, hook like crazy - reacted very well in heavy oil conditions. It seems though, it has lost some of its juice.
If you are wondering how many games I bowl - the answer is alot. (i have a very addictive personality) Probably the first month i had this ball - i was at the lanes at least 4 times a week - 1 day i remeber bowling 33 games..

But my overall thoughts about this ball is positive. If you want a ball that hooks - this one seems to be a good choice. I have used the hot water cleaning technique on this ball 2 times - and this ball does soak up the oil. so i would recommend cleaning this ball as much as possible.

Just got this ball from Ebay as a 2nd.  The pin was 1 inch out so there was not many options for drilling.  Ball is nice.  Lanes were very slick tonight in the Sunday evening league and my Passion was not snapping on the backend so I tried the Terminal Velocity.  Man did it give me what I wanted.  Should have shot 800 tonight but left about 6 ten pins and 2 solid 8 eight pins.  Ball has a nice arcing motion and is very forgiving if you pull slightly to the left.  I would definitely recommend this ball.  I am planning on getting another with the pin out further to see what it will do.

I have 2 of these drilled up in my arsenal.  I am a stroker that throws 18.5-19.0mph.  This ball is a very strong particle ball but I still am not convinced it is stronger than the TNT.  However these will handle heavy oil and that is what they are made to do.

TV 1- Box specs 15.03, Top 2, Pin 2inches.  I have this one drilled 5 1/4 X 3 3/4 Pin is above RF and CG is und and to the right of the RF.  This is a nice control drilling for me on the heavier oil patterns.  I left factory finish.  With this drilling it allows me to play up the boards when they are just soup and stills has energy left to carry very well.  When it drys up a little this drilling will allow me to pick up speed a little bit and still play up the boards and that is what I have this one drilled for.  Great Heavy oil ball.

TV 2- Box specs 15.02, Top 2 1/4, Pin is 3inches.  I have this one drilled with the pin below RF and the CG about 3/4 below midline.  Drilling is 4 1/4 x 3 1/4.  This one I tried using the factory finish but did not like it at all.  It just kept burning up on me.  So I experimented a little with the cover.  I ended up sanding it to 800 then put some polish on it.  Now it gets into a nice early roll through the heads and snaps very hard in the backends.  I use this on a medium to heavy wood lanes, Or medium with carrydown.  This one I usually play 2nd arrow swinging to first arrow.  I can imagine someone with less speed than me would probably be able to use this drilling and keep it with the factory finish.

Overall the Terminal Velocity is a great Heavy Oil ball and would work on anything med to heavy.  I would not try getting this ball and using it on med or medium light as it might just burn up on you.
