For me the Break solid fit under the N Code.

My Break solid is drilled pin over the ring about 1" with the MB right of the thumb about 2".  This ball gave me pretty good length, real clean up front for a solid.  I had the surface at 2000ab as well because I have high ball speed.  The reaction was semi length and flip for me and it was at times unpredictable of the spot.

My N Code is drilled pin over the ring about 1.5", right of that about 1" directly over the MB which is about 3" right of the thumb.  It is a blem with a pin length of 5.5"  I took the cover to 800 grit.  Hands down this ball is a monster and I can't even use it on anything less than fresh upper mediums.  If the heads start to go it can still make it clean through the fronts but it revs up way hard and just hooks quickly.  It loves carrydown and cuts through it like a knife through melting butter.  It is not as flippy as the Break but still gets good length with a powerful arc.  

But that's how I have them, just got another N Code that will be laid out weaker to better compliment my Code.  I'm sure you can manipulate the layout and cover to achieve the reaction and placement you are looking for.

FYI having both N Codes allowed me to get rid of my Break.

I have the following in my arsenal right now (from strongest to weakest, and "weak" is a relative term because none of these are truly weak): Break S75, Nkryption Code (with polish) and then the Break Pearl.

In box finish, I suspect an N-Code is going to be a very strong ball. But I polished mine with Storm ReactaShine and it's a perfect ball for mediums.

The key is the surface prep, though. Don't buy an N-Code and throw it in box finish and expect it to be much weaker than a Break.
