Venom Report
« on: March 01, 2006, 04:06:48 PM »
Just received the Venom the other day and couldn't wait to drill it, so to the drill press we went.  First off let me say the color scheme on this ball is awesome. Very appealing! But any way started with a 3 and 1/2 pin and 2 and 3/4 ounces of top. Placed the pin 5 and 1/2 inches from my pap and cg 4 inches, hole down inside VAL and 2 and 1/2 inches deep.  All I can say from throwing it during a practice session that this is the ball I have been looking for in my arsenal and in the AMF line.  This may just be the sleeper ball of the year.  Performance at a low cost is what you will get with this one.  The ball is clean in the fronts, and very rolly and continous in the mids and back. No signs of early burn. This ball is release friendly meaning, I could get many different looks with it depending on how I released it off the hand.  Struck from many different angles.  I will keep you all updated as I throw it more, as I know this ball will be seeing a lot of games in the future.  Drop me an e-mail if you have any questions.

Definitely a nice looking ball...  they arrived at the nationals booth while I was in CC...  they had only been there a day, so I wasn't able to gather much info about them though...

Hey Nathan I should be getting mine on Monday or Tuesday.  I was actually going to drill mine the same way.  Did you put you pin above the MF or Below.  Thanks, Derek
