Code drilling?
« on: May 21, 2008, 11:35:14 PM »
Just wondering what drilling you guys are putting on your code and how you are liking it reaction wise. I willl be purchasing one tonight, but my proshop guy will have to order it.

Gives me a little time to think on how I want to drill it. I want it to be versaatile without being to strong. Stas are in my profile. oh and I am dropping down to 15lb, so revs, and speed will increase.

mine had a 3.5" pin, drilled it 4 1/2 x 3 1/2, pin up. Good midlane roll with an explosive backend.

Mine also had a 3-1/2" pin and it is drilled pin over ring, 5-1/4" x 4-1/2", no weight hole.  Best ball in the bag right now.  Ball gets excellent length and a hard, predictable arc to the pocket.  As tekneek said, excellent midlane roll.

mine has a 2.5" pin, drilled 6 x 4 1/2, pin under middle finger. like both previous posts, it has an excellent midlane roll with strong continuation to the pocket. my favorite ball behind the break i have a second one coming

nice to know it is somewhat of a conrtol ball. I am also getting a AMF Heist as well and am wanting to drill both the same. Am hoping there will be a difference in strenth to where code will fit well underneath Heist.

My arsenal will sit as
Buzzbomb-Heavy
Heist-Med heavy
Code-Medium
Supernova Xp- Med to med light

I have them both, drilled almost identical, the Heist(5 x 4) covers about 3 boards more than my Code(4-1/2 x 3-1/2) does.
