Title: AMF Code in action
Post by: Rev_O on February 14, 2009, 09:06:40 AM
Here are a few shots of me throwing the AMF Code last sunday. First day out of the box I shot 259-256-278(793)-259=1052. I can see this one staying in the bag for a while. I will post a review shortly as well.

The Code is a really good ball.  I won one on here in an AMF ball raffle last year, and really liked it.  I don't have it anymore, but I put up some decent numbers with it.

Nice length, nice turn, nice hit, nice ball!

My code is a 2nd because it was a long pin (4.5") That's all.

I bowled lefty for about 6 months, averaging 208. I did not bowl at all during the 2007-2008 season.

The Code is a fabulous piece that is a must for any bowler. This is one hybrid that is smooth, continuous, and hard hitting. Mine is layed out 5 by 3 and I keep it highly polished and use it when the track starts burning up. We tied a team in our third last week, and had to bowl another ste of three. I took out the Code, we have a 32 team league, and about 30 guys stuck around to watch the match. We are talking 33 pin handicap (5 guys, our team), against a 210 handicap team. The lanes were fried at this point. Shot 750 with the Code for the last three, where my Cell Pearl had to sit ! About 10 guys asked me about this ball. A bowler on my team bought this ball the next day. This ball is my sleeper ball of my bowling season.

Ya the Code is one excellent piece, it is my old reliable, it is smooth yet strong, and hits very hard. When I am in a slump, this is the ball I always go to. It is a ball that is in my bag everytime I go to a new center, benchmark is an understatement.

If anyone has a chance to pick one of these up, don't think thice.
