Nkryption Code strength

How strong is the cover on the N Code? I just scored one off of LaneHammer20 (Great transaction, by the way), and was wondering where it fit in in terms of coverstock strength. I hear that it's earlier and more than the Code, but that it's almost more on the backend. Also, how does it compare to any other high end AMF or 900 ball? They say that it's stronger than the S75, but that ball is pretty darn strong.

It was rated at an F70, was supposed to super flippy.

Not sure of its exact relationship to the Code, but its intent was just as you describe.
I tried a 14 lb when my hip was hurting me. Even with the stock semi-polished finish, it needed medium to medium-heavy oil just to retain its energy. It had a strong backend but, being what it is (pearl/solid F70 combo), I would not suggest it was a skid/flip ball.

Remember it also had an asymmetric core. It wasn't real strong, but you did have to take it into account when drilling.
 
Dull, it could certainly handle, maybe even require medium-heavy oil, up to heavy oil.
 
(If you'd like to "play" with a 14 lb one, I've no use for it anymore.)

Well, by the numbers, I would guess that it's plenty strong. But there are people that say it's very skid flip, then there are people that say it's an awesome oil ball. I was going to go 60x4.75x50 on it, and see how it rolled compared to my newer stuff. I still have to put holes in my Train, Hook Hybrid, and another Hype Urethane. Currently, my heavy oil piece is drilled like how I want to drill the Code (Aftermath is a pretty awesome ball, by the way.) I'm bowling a Kegel league this summer after 3 years of not bowling a league, and the first 3 weeks are the usbc pattern. Looking forward to it!

 The n code was a sting ball.  Btm rated it as 7,12.5, 16.5, 52.  Thats similar to newer stuff like the mission x, warning sign and others like those.  It probably wouldn't out hook them today because it's old coverstock tech but still a good ball.  The s75 was rated 50 on total hook in btm.

A couple years ago i had both a S75 and an N=Code. Both were drilled pin down with th3 S75 having a slightly longer pin to pap and a smaller drill angle. (videoballreviews review of the S75 as it was the ball from the video) S75 was 5x35x70 where as N-Code was 4.5x60x70. The S-75 had slightly more hook overall but i relate that to the drill angle starting the ball sooner. Both were great pieces so i put some surface 2K on the S-75 to give it some seperation from the N-Code
