I think you are going to like the Code with that layout.  I bought an Nkryption Code 2nd from Steve and went with the double thumb layout.  Actual layout was 40* x 4-1/2" x 40*.  Drilled out the mass bias with the weighthole.  This is the most angular ball I have thrown.

What is the pin-PAP distance in your Code?  Let us know what you think once you have a chance to throw it.

direct, 50 x 4-3/8 x 45.  I also have a 3 3/8 pin to PAP Code, but I think I'm going to like this one more.

need some help here understanding this x-hole concept. why won't the p4 placement of the x-hole work on the 55*x5x20* layout? also, what is the reason for having to have a pin so far out? is this similar to the tommy jones layout that ebonite discusses? saw that the x-hole has to be 1" right of thumb and pitched to the right. how far does it have to pitched to the right?

would this reaction work good on a rogue cell for nationals?
a layout im thinking of is 60* x 4" x 45*
any input would be greatly appreciated.

direct, I've used the Code on 2 occasions since I got it.  One on a heavier fresh shot, the other on a broken dry second shift shot.  The double thumb is a monster layout.  Tremendous midlane AND tremendous strength at the breakpoint/through the deck.  It's front to back strong.  The broken down shot called for something else, but on the fresh shot, the doubled Code was outhooking my Dimension (4x4@4000).  Luckily Steve and I put this on a Code rather than a solid or a stronger piece.  I am happy this is on a hybrid.  I liked the reaction so much, Steve is doing a Heist Pearl and the Orbit x pearl for good luck.

Glad to hear you like the double thumb layout on your Code.  I love mine on my NCode.  I hope to shoot some video of it at some point.  Great skid/snap reaction and great continuation through the pins.  I ordered a long pin 2nd Kinetic Solaris from Steve (tekneek) that I plan on using a double thumb layout as well.

Make sure the serial number is reengraved on the ball.  If it is not it is not legal for USBC.

interesting comment, the last 5 honor scores I've shot the USBC form no longer asks for a serial number,only Ball name and Manufacturer with a USBC approved stamp or engraving stamp. Joe has the serial number

As far as i know the full serial number doesnt need to be engraved. the 3 numbers there are enough. its simply to verify if the ball is the same ball registered in the begining of a tournament.

I have had to engrave serial numbers back in before.
