900 Global's "Creature" is a purple pearl ball with S40 Reactive. For those who are looking for a ball for "ideal" lane conditions, this is it. Finished the test 3 weeks ago and should be available the 1st week of August. If someone is looking for a smooth rolling ball, this ball will complement the Break well. The price should be in the mid to mid plus category. Any questions, feel free to contact myself or Eric Thomas.

900 Global initial covers -- the S## ones -- are named so that the consumer can easily determine the relative strength of the ball when compared to other 900 Global balls. Taking this into account, "S40 Pearl Reactive" tells you two things -- one, that the reactive resin base is approximately 42-43% weaker than the Break's S70, and two, that the cover is pearlized, meaning that the shell will be harder, and promote more length in oil and more reaction in dry.  Basically, if you consider the fact that the Break's coverstock is quite aggresive, one can safely conclude -- based on 900 Global's industry info -- that the Creature's ball reaction will be one of good length with head oil, with a moderate reaction at the back part of the lane, with both less torque and backend board coverage than the Break.

Hope this helps.

Just keep in mind...it's 900 Global and AMF...the Break and the Creature are 900G, the Hei$t is AMF...bottom line, though, is that all provide the intended reactions and all are able to provide the bowler with outstanding performance on the lanes.

The Creature has a purple pearl color with a solid reactive shell. The weight block is the Titan core. Sorry about the confusion guys.
