Picture of Changeling...
« on: March 02, 2005, 12:34:01 AM »
Here's a picture of my Bonanza II (Changeling), I bought from BeansProShop.
Color reminds me of my Columbia Trooper, which was urethane. This is reactive.
Looks like a Bully? Detour? Rule? Animal? Crunch Time? Is it an AMF core (Triumph)

I had the ball drilled Friday. Pin over ring finger.
It has a 3" pin. CG is stacked under, 1/2" above grip center.
Ball was 15# even, had 3-3/4" TW.
Threw a game with it, on a pretty soft, fresh condition. Ball has really nice length, no flippiness, just a strong roll. What I was looking for.

Will post a pic of the layout/drilling, later.

Thanks, that would be appreciated.  I find it kinda funny - I have a ball 2 numbers up from yours, and my in-laws have the same tile!

Here is a pic of my bonanza - http://www.dipspit.com/qstick777/Balls/bonanzas/14-15.JPG

Ball is reactive.
Not a real aggressive reactive, though.
I have the Trooper which has a totally different look, and reaction.

I noticed the other pictures of the labels (Under the Bonanza post in Columbia forum) all said urethane.

Some had the same serial # as mine, some didn't

Yeah, all 3 of mine say Urethane.  I have pics and labels in the Columbia thread.  Gonna wait a little while before I drill mine up.  Can only use the 14lb right now anyways, and it looks like it could just be a white dot blem!

Hey fellas,
I was just reading your posts here. ALL Bonanza labels DO say Urethane on them. Also, I was told by a very good source that these balls were Changelings..Not sure why they are Bonanzas.. Triumph core with plenty of different coverstocks.. I was originally selling these as test balls because they weren't identifiable...The difference in price was because they all had great specs.. The Overdrive thing was a mistake on my part.  The Overdrive wasn't even out yet when I got them in.  The GP2 was the closest to what the ball looked like.. If anybody has any questions at all you can message me and I will answer them to the best of my ability.  Thanks   Beans
