Once again, great job! The vids really show the differences from ball to ball....

this footage was a shorter/lighter house shot....the videos of the high performance equipment was on a little bit longer and a little heavier house shot than this

if i would play the same line with my radar lock that i did with the orbit in the video, it would have come close to picking off the 7 pin!

Nice video Bar!  Keep up the good work and keep them coming.  I especially like the slow motion.

Damn, that Orbit Xtreme looks sweet. I've never seen an entry level ball look that good. I want one now, LOL.

Best "Entry Level" ball on the market in my opinion...this ball is truely a great ball for EVERYONE not just beginners!

i used to throw a whirlwind from ebonite as my "low end ball" this ball is so much easier to read for me and gives me a more consistent reaction...and they were drilled very similar...

im thinking about getting another one and putting some surface on it to see how much oil it COULD handle...

I was actually pondering getting a whirlwind for medium light to light, but this ball looks as if its smoother. The only worry is if, since it is superflex, if it gets a little over/under.

It is indeed smoother...the whirlwind for me tended to be a little over under, which is common in other "weaker balls" i have thrown

i believe its the core in the xtreme that makes this ball so great...it just matches up with superflex so well...

and if you would get one and are worried about it being over under, just put the pin a little lower to your midline to get it started up sooner and make it "roll" more

I can't do that...

My crash was drilled that way and it clipped the finger holes.

Finally the darn thing cracked all the way around.

I have found a smooth drilling to be with the pin right above the fingers, in between the fingers with the center of gravity at center grip.

Nice video.

I just wish the pro shops in this area would carry AMF300 products!

They carry Power Grooves and Scout/R's for under $90, so I'm sure pricing would be perfect!

Also, I hear that the Xtreme is pretty close to the Changeling - reaction wise.  Is that true?

I still haven't figured out if the Orbit extreme is PEARL...or polished solid.

As to the Whirlwind...they say that is an entry lever ball!  However despite the lightbulb weightblock it looks like the core numbers are pretty strong.

I have a friend with a Crossfire(whirlwind) core...and drilled not that strong...the ball is colossal!

I think from what I saw the Orbit Extreme numbers are smaller in the diff department.

REgards,

Luckylefty
PS I had heard some negative comments regarding colors on the orbit extreme..yet it's pictures look good!  Good looking or ugly?

I like the colors.  One pro shop does have one on the "used ball" rack, but it's not my weight.
