i got one off ebay, pin in,bummer, drilled it just like tekneeks. I finally got a ball that says it hooks in oil to hook in oil. This ball is stronger than the mutant and mision hands down.mutant has similar drill. Yes it recovers and it never got squirly on the shot i was playing it on. ONce i saw that it would move I decided i wanted to see how much i could get the other stuff to move rather than bowl with it so i only thru a couple of shots with it. I left too many ten pins ,but i couldnt move right without over under. I still have some figurin to do. I can honestly say that in my hand this ball hooks where the mission is 60 ft sled. I dont want to exagerate ,but i think at least 10 boards stronger than the mission and mutant. Dont know what the shot was but there was a considerable amount of oil in the middle and good amount of carry down and it never got squirly, definitely a ball for heavier conditions cant wait till friday.

This ball is for sure a sleeper ball for oil. I also have one polished pin under the ring and it eats carry down up..

I have people ask me all the time, who makes that ball and when I say AMF, they say they didn't know AMF made balls anymore!! LOL..

Overall a great piece from Eric and the boys in SA.

What is the difference between the Mega Recovery and the Bounty Hunter? Since I had such success with older Track equipment I am looking to try AMF/900 Global. I need an oil ball over my Mean Machine so I am curious.

Thanks,

This post has been edited to avoid spreading information I have come to find was incorrect.  I apologize.

There''s a Demo on the 26th of this month I''m going to try and make it to, so I can throw the Mega Recovery and compare it to my Friction.  Unfortunately there aren''t any reviews other than this thread, and the ball isn''t even listed on Bowlingball.com yet.  I''m worried it will overlap with my Virtual Gravity, which is what I pull out after my Mega Friction when I need more length and snap.

adrenaline,i had a vg i just sold it.I never saw the potential in the vg like i have the mega. If you like the vg imho you will love the mega. The same shot i was playing the mega on the vg wasnt even close to moving on,in fact if you like the vg the mr is too much ball for you.

I''ve been so involved with getting the mess this shop was in organized i haven''t had the chance. I did send Eric an email today noting that i will call him tomorrow as i''m off tomorrow. All that being said i had 2 people today ask me if we were going to be selling their equipment after seeing me in a AMF/Global shirt
