Closeout Prices on the Heist
« on: November 17, 2008, 08:58:20 AM »
So I've been thinking of getting a new ball for this Spring/Summer and just for kicks I looked at some balls online. One thing that surprised me was that the Heist is selling for, what I think, are relatively low prices. One site has them for $71, another for $78.

A little bit about myself...
I love bowling, but having just started College, I don't have a ton of time to devote to bowling. My intramural league just finished, so I'll probably only be going 1-2 times a month. However, I'll be bowling a lot this summer. I currently only own one ball, an Anger, which I love. That being said, I think I could use a better fitting, as I'm still gripping during my swing, and the Anger has a lot of games on it.

So I'm not the most serious of bowlers, and I'm still working on form and release issues. I don't really see myself owning more than a regular ball and a spare ball in the near future. That being said, do you think the Heist would be a good choice for this low a price?

Very underrated sphere at a great price.  I don't think you'll be disappointed.

I liked my first one so much that I picked up another while they are still available. This ball is one of the best performing balls available and so versatile and adjustable to most conditions. I don't know why this ball was under-rated.

Buy one, I have two. As stated by everyone it is very underrated. Good control ball. It will make an excellent choice for you. I just got another off ebay for $52 bucks to my door.

For the price you can't go wrong.  I have three all drilled differently with different surface preps and they cover a wide array of conditions.

It is a great carrying ball that vaporizes the pocket when it hits.  It's one you can definitely count on over and over again.
