I hate throw a wet blanket over this wonderful thought, but better to deal with reality now. I see a potential problem.
Do you remember the reintroduction of the red solid Pulse? It never acted like the original because the then current version of Super-Flex used on the retro version was significantly stronger than the version of SF used on the original. It would seem that unlike Brunswick, Columbia does not keep the original versions of their coverstock resins in stock or BASF, their chemical (resin) company, does not retain the old formulas.
My fear is that the Super-Flex used on the new NightHawk with be much stronger than the original Super-Flex. Thus the ball won't be the same. It may be excellent, but it won't be the same.
