Are any of these old AMF balls worth money??? Theyre all NIB
« on: December 16, 2013, 06:56:06 AM »
I was just cleaning up the basement this past week at the alley i work in... And came across boxes upon boxes of all these balls way before my time.  There were

Dick weber legacy i think it was called
One black Angle

Shoot i cant think of the others, but will update this when i found out the rest.
Any insight would be greatly appreciated, as i dont know if theyre just taking up valuable space, or if they are gems and worth keeping or selling

Depends on what you have, both of what you have are worth money. How much is dependant on what someone is willing to pay. I wouldn't know off top but you do have some classics. I have a black angle and I won't get rid of it for anything. But I think you can expect atleast 100 for both maybe more.

Yes, they are worth money. It also depends on what the weights are. Please reply or email me and let me know what else you find and what weights. Thanks!

Sadly, most people used 16lbs back in the urethane days, so I'm guessing that's what he'll have; however, should he happen to have a 15lb Black Cobra or Black Sumo, we may have to talk!

I appreciate the responses guys. There's so many of them to be honest that there is definitely a couple 16s I know there was some 15's and even a few 14s. There is indeed a black sumo With if I'm not mistaking the word sumo engraved in yellow.  However the sumo is punched up already.  There were a lot of balls called high skore, one was an AMF Rpm but that one was drilled.  I also found a Columbia messenger TI i think it was called sd, as well as a ROCK ON or Rock something lol...    a light blue faball single drilled. Two speed zones sdrilled. An HPD danger zone.

Quite frankly, I was amazed at all the new balls down there. Obviously the majority were house balls but definitely some gems down there

Thanks again guys I really do appreciate it,

I'd be interested in anything 15NIB Brunswick.

But all I keep reading is SD this and that which is worth about shipping in many cases.

Best of luck

Sorry guys...  Im trying to answer all questions and even help fill in my own blanks. But we r dealing with a blizzard here so i havent been in the shop in a few days now.  As soon as i do i will let you all know.

I can say this though.  I remember some of the balls boxes saying dick weber legacy urethane, and dick weber legacy reactive.  I believe one was a dull tealish color

A little update
Most of the nib balls indeed are 16 pounds. And unfortunately we have cases of 11 and 12 pound ones Which I know is not going to help anybody. Right now I'm in the process of cleaning up the ones that have been drilled already As they have been sitting in the basement collecting dust for God knows how long. But here's an updated list of what I have single drilled in 15

AMF
RPM -SD
CLASSIC PRO-ROLL NIB

BRUNSWICK
RHINO- tanish color 1.5 drill
DANGER HPD-sec drill
SPEED ZONE-SD
IMPACT ZONE-SD
EDGE -sd
BLACK BEAUTY -NIB MULTIPLE WEIGHTS
CUSTOM LTD -NIB MULTIPLE WEIGHTS
CROWN JEWEL-NIB

FABALL
BLUE -sd with engraved name

TRACK
HEXPLOSION-SD

EBI
VORTEX V2-sd

COLUMBIA
MESSENGER TITANIUM-sd
ROCK ON -SD

I dont want to send pics until i at lesst clean em all up
