Black Mamba not hooking
« on: November 03, 2012, 11:42:58 PM »
Has anyone else had this problem with the ball not hooking? I drilled it kinda weak anticipating a strong hook based on the numbers and strong coverstock but the ball barely moves for me. I drilled it pin over MF with CG in palm and MB just rt of TH and my specs are PAP 5.5" rt 3/4" up with speed approx 14mph and revs around 350. It seems to me the ball should be hooking quite a bit but it just skids and then rolls with very little hook. The finger and side wt are near 0 if that helps with no side hole. Any suggestions??????

I'm not having any issues with my Black Mamba. I polished it with Snake Oil and skid, HOOK, roll thru the pins. I don't use it much on THS since I wanted to stand left of twenty this season and play more up the boards.... Surface, then polish. Keep playing with the cover...9

Have you tried any other balls with a pin position that weak?
