The Victory/Fusion Hook Monster is probably as good on oil as most "heavy oil balls".  I always had to polish it to have any chance of getting it down the lane.  If you dull the surface, I can't imagine the amount of oil you'd have to put down to make it go too long.

For most people, on most conditions, the Fusion Hook Monster is a lot of ball.

The Fusion Hook Monster is one of Del's (Warren) (of Track) cores from when he was their ball designer. I had one and it hooked pretty good. Probably not as much now because of the constant increases in oil, but it liked oil especially if you rolled it. Did a nice steady hard arc to the pocket and still could use it on medium conditions. Good all round ball for those two conditions.
