Ok all you Clutch throwers how do you compare this ball to a Widow Bite,Widow Sting,or a Brunswick Siege? Has anyone thrown the Sideways and Clutch? Is the Clutch actually stronger than the Sideways? This ball sounds very intriguing to say the least. The reason I am asking is because I bought a Nighthawk Pearl and it was NOT a medium ball for me but rather a dry lane ball. This ball sounds like a real steal for $110.00!!!!! Thank you in advance.

yes it is that strong, the Clutch is a solid, the Sideways is a pearl. The Clutch is for heavy or longer oil where the Sideways is more for medium oil, and has a very strong angular back end.

The Clutch is very strong OOB, very tunable cover, its a completely different ball when polished.

The clutch is strong for sure, even polished it out hooks my bounty hunter. Now my dull one, is stupid strong, with out a doubt the strongest, smoothest, controllable ball on the market. Plus with a mid price on it you cant beat it, oh and don't be miss led even on the heaviest oil patters the ball remains strong polished or dull.

the Clutch is a strong solid. Not quite as strong as my Bounty Hunter, stronger than my Copperhead, a bit stronger than my Bounty. But it is a strong controllable piece, with a nice heavy roll. I've shot 780 straight out of box with it, followed with back to back 680s. alot of balls are advertised as "control", but I think this is by far closer to a control piece than others. I finished strong in my summer leagues with it and begin the new leagues tonight and wednesday, and hopefully I keep up the good pace.
Anyone who thinks they should buy the Clutch, shouldnt think too long, its that good of a ball. As far as the Sideways goes....still havent drilled it up! Its been sitting on the work bench for 3 weeks because I dont want to put down the Clutch!
