So I went and picked up my Code today from the shop. Went with a standard label drill. Pin left of the ring, and cg in the grip. I was told not to drill it too strong, so I went with the safest lay out I know.
The ball is pretty nice for a player like myself. I was on wood lanes with a medium oil shot with an out of bounds from 5 to the ditch.
Easy length, smooth off the spot. Carried well, but most new balls do. I really like the look of it going down the lane, the seperating colors really make it easy to tell when it's going to make a move. Very predictible piece.
I was at 16 with my feet (I line up with the outside of my left foot) and playing straight up the 10 board. As the night went on I had to move a couple boards in with my feet to hold the line, as the ball got a little squirty.
673 series with a 248 the first game out of the box. Nothing spectacular, but not too shabby either. 40 pins over average for the night.
AMF is not a company I would normally consider, but I won this in a raffle, so I had to give it a shot. Nice, smooth, controllable, nothing flashy, not a hook in the box, but a good piece to have in the bag.
If anyone has any questions, feel free to PM me.
Thanks.
