1. Does the friction rating take the core into account as well as the cover?
2. Do they have the same cover or are they tweaked slightly?
3. Is the friction rating and F-number the same as the S-number on 900 Global balls? I realize that just because the NC has a friction rating of F70 and the original break has the S70 coverstock doesn't mean they have the same cover (no reason two different cover couldn't have the same friction rating), but are the numbers comparable?

To me Nkryption looks like a hybrid the green looks pearly and the burgundy is a solid. Just my take of looking at it, maybe it is just mica flakes but sure looks pearl to me.

Yeah, I assumed that was true. I didn't mean to imply that F70 on one AMF ball was the same cover as S70 on another.
I was really just wondering if something with a rating of F70 was pretty close in strength to something with a rating of S70, even if they're totally different coverstocks. Thanks.

The ratings are to there to measure shell strength. The "N" Code is stronger than the original Code thus we bumped the rating up. Never the less the cover is completely different and it also has an additive in it as well making it stronger off the spot (note the gold flecks on the ball). Now it being a 70 and the Break being 70 we felt the reactions were overall very similar not the same but in general they were about the same overall strength. We are trying to provide a base chart or number system that makes it easier for the shop guy as well as consumer to gauge their next purchase. Or we could simply keep recycling covers give them cool marketing names, confuse everyone in to believing its a new cover and just say "yeah it hooks 5 more boards than the first one does".

Wait, so the covers have the same name (CodePlusâ„¢ Reactive), but are completely different?
That's a new marketing twist - give them a completely different cover, but use the same name and confuse everyone into believing its the same cover.
Either way, it's about 5 boards stronger.
