this ball was released two years after the original nighthawk, and with a core that is similar to the track havoc (as i've heard is true about the nighthawk) could we be looking at a picture of the Nighthawk core??

yes that is nighthawk core or nighthawk menace core not exactly sure but i had both when they were newer balls and remember core shapes.

I'm pretty sure that's the same core, but with a high load particle cover. One of the best oilers ever. Glad I have one. I'm even going to blow the dust off of it for a tournament the 31st.

Probably the BEST oiler ever!!! I still to this day have not found a ball that will handle heavy heavy oil like the Evolution Tour. Great ball!!!
-
If you remember, the Angle Evolution series had a dual mass bias block, where as the original Nighthawk did not.

Ahhhhh.......Angle Evolution Series......Best over all series of balls I ever had. Built a whole arsenal out of this series. Wish AMF would remake them again.

The Evo Tour is a great heavy oil ball that I still use. I just sold 2 16lb NIB Evo Tours that I had in my closet. I also have a NIB 16lb Nighthawk, Menace, Menace Pearl, and Evolution (original) for sale, if interested.

You will not see me on the PBA Tour, but I love the game!!!
