Best Hooking Bowling Ball
« on: November 25, 2007, 11:01:08 AM »
So im only a beginning bowler.  I have bowled my whole life, but never competitively.  I am looking to purchase a ball that has a good hook on it because my ball now is only really good for being a spare ball.  I was wondering what balls you all prefer to use.
Thx

don't start off with too strong of a ball try a vibe or a mid range piece of equipment and go up from there if you go out and buy the biggest hooking and highest price piece theres a good chance that by the time you can throw it really good it'll be dead or beaten up pretty good

A couple of great pieces to think about getting would be a Orbit Extreme or an Nighthawk solid or Nighthawk Pearl.  It depends on what lane conditions you are wanting it for.  These are all great pieces for a great price.   If you have any questions feel free to message me.

This is the AMF forum, I'd suggest a Heist.  If it's your first reactive, hooking ball, it's probably best to go to your local pro shop and have them recommend something.  They will likely help you learn to hook it as well.
