Grip vs Mamba
« on: March 30, 2012, 11:30:35 AM »
Has anyone thrown both balls? Wanted to know if the Mamba is as early but maybe smoother. If you can compare it to the Train too that would be great.

I threw the Mamba and the Grip during a demo day.  For me, the Mamba was earlier than the Grip.  In fact, for me it rolled out on the shot we were on.  So I can't comment beyond that.

The Train was a little longer and much more continuous than either.  Out of all the balls there, the Train seemed the best for the shot that was put out.  I think the shot was a simple THS.

Black Mamba had more length than the Grip for me.  Was borderline skid/snap, with not so much snap on the back.  Grip is alot earlier in my opinion.

Thanks for the replies. Thinking about a Mamba for burning a line in a pattern because the cover seems so strong.
