Is this "line" i guess gone? Only one great ball no follow up pearl?

Good question.

My initial thought is that after the Ebonite buyout, it was a fairly easy release for them (previous cover and core) until they could get up and running with newer production.

It looks like the Code series will replace it, but I don't have any explanation as to why another Heist wasn't released.  Since the Heist is still on the website as a current ball, I guess there is still a chance that they could release another ball in the line.

I dont think AMF was ever bought out by Ebonite in recent years

AMF is a label, it's not really a company. Right now 900 Global has the contract to pour all of AMF's bowling balls. Thus....you'll see the columbia cores and coverstocks.

I think he meant when Ebonite bought out Columbia that AMF scrapped the little resources they had and the Heist was a ball they made haste to get out so the brand had a new release until they were able to design and create some more new equipment.

I don't know about any of all of that stuff, but I will agree with the OP on the fact that the Hei$t is one FANTASTIC ball.  First ball out of the bag, read what the lanes are going to do, this would be THE ball for a one ball kinda person.
