the TNT "remake"...
« on: October 25, 2008, 05:08:45 AM »
I haven't heard anything about this new ball. And since I so loved the original so much, I just wanted to get an idea of this ball before I went out and bought.

So...

Was there absolutely any change at all made to this "REMAKE" version to make it more successful for todays Oil Conditions?

And could this NEW version, since it is being made some 4 years after the Original, possibly have more durability and a greater lifespan (like a Soaker cover?) since it is being made with more up-to-date technology behind it, than what was around several years back?

I would imagine that there has to be some difference because when the original TNT was made, it most likely used a Columbia300 shell (like Super-Flex?). AMF used alot of Columbia300 shells back then since they were under the Columbia300 company umbrella.

Is this the same EXACT version as the Original?

Meaning...

1.) Same exact Core with no alteration at all?
2.) Same exact Coverstock with no more (and no less) amount of Particles used?
3.) Same size of Particle pieces?
4.) The color is still Black for the Coverstock with Yellow logos... correct?
5.) Is the Length, Oil Handling Capability, and Backend Strength the EXACT same as the Original?

Sorry for the questions... I'm just picky when it comes to the TNT!

Thanks!

It was explained to me by Global 900 that this is the exact same ball.  If it wasn't I don't think I would have purchased it either.  The best ball ever made in my opinion.

It has to be the exact ball. The BASF resin formulas didn't go to Ebonite when they bought Columbia300. AMF is its own entity and was left intact with all formulas, cores, and designs.

ET has a sense of humor just need to know which button to push, here's an example, I'll take a few of those pretty blue glitter balls in the warehouse Eric. OOPS, may have pushed the wrong button.
