Hype Review

I drilled my Hype 5 ¼ x 5 hoping for something a little longer and a little more angular then my Missing Link, and that is what I got.  This ball gets down the lane very easy, still gives me about 3 inches of flare so it reads the midlane pretty well, and has plenty of pop downlane.  This ball goes longer then my Profit or Long Shot, but still turns the corner nicely.

I first tried this ball on new Brunswick Pro Lane on the USBC White pattern and was able to play farther right then with anything else.  I was about 2-1 right of my Missing Link, but with a much different motion downlane.

I drilled the Hype to be more angular downlane, and the Missing Link to be a little smoother.  I feel these two balls really compliment each other nicely with a similar amount of overall hook, but a very different look.  Also the purple/gold color scheme looks very sharp!
