mega recovery and drilling comment
« on: November 05, 2010, 03:23:06 AM »
I have a mega recovery and at first I really liked it. Here lately I hadn't been using it much since it was just not reacting down lane. The other day I was bowling with it and it was just blah. I took it to the pro shop and let him redrill it,this is something I do quite often to balls that dont initially give me what I am looking for,so anyway the ball was pin up 3.5 to pap. It is a pin in ball, but it was ok at first. I had it drilled pin under 4in tap pap no weight hole pin is under bridge.
Its been a long time since I have thrown A ball,is ever, that responded like this to a redrill. First time out I never missed the pocket. I was missing left missing right,(yeah I am a hack),and the ball just kept striking. The only thing I couldn't do was get fast. I left a couple of ten pins and if not for those I would have had my first 800. This was ball was nice when I first got it now its a true beast. 760 first time out with new drill. This what what i was hoping for when i bought it. This ball was nothing short of automatic for me. Its at 1000 grit and I didn't have to move for three games and that never happens,I cant wait to pick it up again,I am excited about bowling again,I am finally coming out of my slump and I have finally found three balls I can count on and the mega recovery is my benchmark piece.
