roflmao, thought I would get to try it tomorrow morning, Men's travel league is in town, so it will be late tomorrow afternoon the earliest on a severely tore up house shot. might just wait until Monday night in league to test her out.
I'm afraid at 1000 abralon it might be too strong for our THS, might have to add some surface or polish.

ok...I'm actually more interesed in the Clutch Pearl.  What kind of length and backend do you pridict that rock will have?  Are you planning on trying one anytime soon?

Here's the problem, as and I have talked many times I need a ball that is flippy.  I had the Break Pearl in Oct/Nov of 08' and I had it drilled with pin just a little too low.  It seemed to react the way the BPP does now.  I just feel like the stronger cover of the BPP picks up the lane sooner than the Break Pearl did.  In most cases that is fine but I am looking to have this ball for a few specific centers here around me.

What do you think, is there something else out there?

stronger cover for sure F-75 vs F-55, higher rg diff core, so more total hook. lower rg core, means it will start up earlier than the Clutch. I ended up taking mine to 2000 Ab and adding polish, I'll use it tonight report back tomorrow with my findings. I'm afraid with a 2.45 rg it would stand up to early for my needs

If a ball can look strong on the shelf this one wins hands down.  I just don't see enough oil long enough to use such strong balls.  Can't wait to see it though.

Tekneek,

You had a chance to roll this beast yet? Just curious.

used it on not the best conditions for the ball, 243 out of the gate with it, ball rolls real sweet, I added some surface and polish, got good length and a very hard turn on the back. The shot was not a typical shot we generally see, as our lane machine is having issues. Prime example, lane 20 hooking 3-5 boards more than 19. Playing 2 completely different lines. A real joke, especially since we don't have a qualified tech to work on the machine, about all they do is pour in the oil and stripper and hit the start button, only do maintenance on it when it doesn't run.

yes it did, I'll use it tonight or planning to do so, hopefully we'll have a decent shot so I can give a more in depth review. When I was able to find an area where it would react, it reminded me of a pearl with the back end "jump", but remember the surface is not box, mine at the moment is 2000 with polish, so it was very clean up front with a very angular motion, I might knock the "shine" off this afternoon and throw it at 2000 before going to the lanes this evening.

I'm afraid the shot we generally have is (med- med heavy w/ 41 ft buff), the MR is going to  want to stand up too soon at box with a F-75 friction rating solid cover and a low rg core.

still very strong, and has a ton of continuation and recovery, it does meet the hype !! I can not imagine using it in our house at 1000, it would be off the left side jumping gutter caps

I did mine strong 3 3/8 from axis had to take it to 2000 with some polish. It does have more shelf appeal when its shined up, will use it tonight.  On the other hand my Clutch Pearl looks very nice.
