Maximum Velocity
« on: December 13, 2005, 11:26:02 AM »
I can't believe more people don't talk about this ball. I've only had it a couple days and I'm very impressed. Not a hook-monster by any means, but what a nice, smooth, consistent reaction. And with the mb just right of my thumb, the breakpoint is pretty angular. Am I all alone, or have others been equally impressed by the Maximum Velocity?

I have to agree I just got mine less then a week ago and this ball is a beast.  It goes long and then just turns on its blinker and dives for the pocket.  Its just what I was looking for.  The only problem is its dry its just too much, but thats not what the ball is really for.

anyone else? so myself and one other person throw this thing and love it? i can't hardly believe that.

in all reality the reason i love this ball is becuase i feel like i'm able to play close to the same line no matter where i bring it. always withing a board or two no matter the condition. bowled in a synthetic house that i've never been able to shoot well at on tuesday averaged 190ish there last year, shot 717 with the Maximum.

How's the Velocity compare to this thing? a little less overall hook with more backend? or is the hook about the same, just more skid/snappy? lmk.
