You probably have your eye on a HyRoad, a Rapid Fire, etc.  2009 is the year of cutting back, and tightening the belt.  If you can find these NIB or single drills, you will be satisfied:

Instead of a Rapid Fire Solid:  an AMF Heist at 1000

Instead of a HyRoad (hybrid):   an AMF Code at OOB

Instead of a Street Rod Solid:  an AMF Villian at OOB

Instead of a Street Rod Pearl:  an AMF Orbit Extreme Pearl at OOB

I've thrown everything listed here, all of the cheaper AMF pieces are full of value.   If you come across this AMF stuff, you have to try it.  I can't beleive how good the reaction is on The Heist, an extremely underrated ball.

amf makes just as many quality balls as anyone else.  Im in the process to switching to them and 900global only.  I have never really been a brand whore but I just love how their balls roll for me.  

If they had the money to market all of their stuff like ebonite does, a LOT more people would be in love with their equipment.  If anyone gets a chance to get one, do it!

I just receieved my heist and i agree it is the most underated ball that nobody throws.  The ball is going to be my benchmark ball I have it surrounded by a bounty, mega friction, break pearl,link,use a liberator for spares.
