The Night Hawk Se is a very smooth and predictable piece of equipment. We drilled mine pin down and a 4x3 drill with weight hole in the Val. This ball is very clean through the front part of the lane it compares to the Dream in my opinion. This ball glides through the front part of the lane and reads the backend very well compared to my Dream. The Night hawk has a more angular backend movement and is at least 5 boards stronger I have used on wood and synthetics. The ball rolls smoother and goes longer on synthetics and reads the friction well and on wood lanes the ball picks up a little sooner and more angular.

This is going to be a ball for various types of lane conditions from the THS to even a medium oil depending on your game. I would recommend this to be your arsenal if you loved the original Night Hawk you will love this one as well.

I am interested in how this ball outhooks the Dream.  If you are going off just the cover numbers this ball should be less than the Dream?  I should be getting mine in today or tomrrow and hopefully be able to test out in the next few nights. 

The night hawk in my opinion from throwing each of these balls is the night hawk is much cleaner through the front part of the lane.  The King cobra for me would read early and arc and the favorite would sometimes have a hard time getting through the front part of the lane and either over read or under read the friction but of the 3 the night in my opinion is the best overall predictable and cleanest ball I've thrown in quit sometime.
