My Ball cracked too
« on: July 03, 2006, 03:45:17 PM »
I recently noticed a crack similar on my Titan,my go to ball, took it to the pro shop they said it was too big to plug and fix.
so I contacted Eric at AMF I have heard so many good things about AMF on standing behind their balls, seems customers do come first with AMF,waiting to hear from him will keep yous updated.

SMASH .. understand the problem you had with the VELOCITY .. I shared the same experience. I purchased mine NEW! Also agree with you .. don't know why some balls split wide open and others don't! I still have my TRIUMPH and think it was the BEST BALL EVER MADE.

I do believe you are missing out. There are a lot of GREAT BALLS on the market .. and two from AMF fall in this category .. they are .. THE RADAR and the RADAR LOCK! If you get a chance to pick one up .. don't pass it by! FANTASTIC BALLS!

t-jack,  with most ball companies,  the pro shop must send all defective balls back to the dist. from which they BOUGHT  the ball from.
if this was bought on-line or from e-bay,  the local pro shop's dist. will not take the ball back.  they record all seriel numbers before shipping a ball out to their local pro shops.
have you tried calling columbia,  if this ball is new and still under warranty
i am sure columbia/amf/track will honor it,  as long as it is a defect.  not lane damage or a drilling error.
good luck
