Release Date on Radar Alert...

...is December 15, 2006!

If you love the way the Radar and Radar Lock rolls but need more hook in your bag, then the Radar Alert is for you. I drilled mine 5 by 3 3/4 and boy does it hook. I had to hit it with some compound and transitioned well from front to back in league. The Alert has a very heavy and continuos roll, yet predictable. Just a great ball for heavy oil! I'm going to drill another one in a couple of days and I will keep you guys informed. The Radar Alert has the same block as the other Radars' and has the One 7-Plus cover (Terminal Velocity cover). The Alert looks like the Terminal but instead of the teal it has gold. This ball puts the other heavy oil bowling balls to shame!

i have a terminal velocity... using it for dry lanes hahahaha

I'd really, REALLY, like to see AMF do a better job of updating their gear on their site!  We should be able to see pictures and read about all the facts on their new balls at least as soon as the ball has been released!

Thanks for the update.  

Hint - in this day and age of "instant communications", IF you want to increase sales of your products, it would be very beneficial to get the information out in a more timely manner! I'm the ONLY one in my town (of over 90,000) that throws AMF! I can't convince anyone else to go with AMF even though I'm averaging over 220! I wish I could afford more of the AMF gear as soon as it comes out to help spread the word!

The newest AMF equipment is marvelous! Keep it coming!

I'd like to weigh in...

One thing I would like to see on the AMF site is a lane diagram that shows how each ball hooks similar to what you see on the Brunswick, Ebonite, Hammer, Storm sites. That would be a great help, as well as, clearly stating what oil condition the balls are created for. Because I am consider the AMF Orbit Extreme along with other as my entry-level reactive ball.
