I'm in between two balls here; I prefer Storm/Roto equipment because I've had great luck with them in the past, but before I moved to Storm/Roto I was usually an AMF guy. I've got one ball left to fill in my arsenal (the go long/hook late ball) and I'm either going to get a Roto Grip RS-1 or an AMF Velocity particle pearl.
Can anyone compare these two balls for me and/or give me an opinion?
Thanks,
Jess

The Velocity is pure skid/flip. It gets sideways on the back end. If you are looking for something that is real clean in the front and drives excellent on the back i recommend the new "Radar" which is scheduled for release on Jan. 16th. It has the first core AMF300 has developed since joining Columbia Industries. The "Tower Core" is wrapped with the Mach 1 Reactive cover (Max Velocity Cover) in a pearlized shell. Bowlers Journal is giving it great reviews in their upcoming issue.

I have my RS-1 drilled 5 x 3 and let me tell you this ball with this layout flips pretty damn good down the lane. You couldn't pay me enough to through AMF garbage. Roto and Storm all the way.
