Got about 15 games on it so I will share my intial thought son it.
Stats in profile
Drilled 4 3/4 X 3 3/4, pin above ring finger. small weighthole 2 inches down my VAL.
FIrst house is roughly 40ft medium oil on Brand new Bruns Pro Anvilane.
At this house the ball goes pretty long, but everything seems to on these new lanes, but it starts its transition very smoothly and seems to arc harder as it gets to the pin deck. I can play a small swing to start over third arrow out to 5-7 board and it comes back with excellent power, by third game I can play as deep as I want and still get the same smooth turn to the pin deck keeping the great carry. Have shot some real good scores so far there.
2nd House-45 FT oiled over the night before that women bowled on. Good amount of carrydown over a oily condition.
Came in tonight for first night of league, expecting this ball to not be strong enough to start out, normally use buzzbomb. STarted strait up 5 board nice and easy, Perfect right into the pocket 10 in da pit. The motion was so smooth, I almost thought about midway down the lane it was going to come in light, but it didn't, because of some poorer shots off my hand wound up clean 202. Second game after it broke down some started swinging 10 at the arrows to about 5 board, still very controllable ball motion, ended with clean 235. Third game moved even deeper to stay out of everyones track through the front part of the lane, throwing a tight shot, got X 9/ then went 7 in a row, left a ringing ten pin in the tenth, picked up then struck for clean 259, and a CLEAN 696 series. I never went past the headpin, a little high only like 4 times and left 6-10.
This is at a house where conditions are tough and lots of ten pins laugh at you, you only see maybe 1 300 a year and only a handful of 700's. this ball matches up so well to this condition it amazes me, and I thought it wasn't going to handle the carrydown and lengthy oil. It laughed at it.
Anyways sorry for rambling just a little excited. The ball is a real winner from AMF, I have seen so far alot of versatility out of it. ANd smooth as silk yet stronger than I expected midlane and backend. it recovers very well when pushes out to far, and holds it line in oil for strikes when pulled. This is my first AMF, have a Heist waiting to be drilled this weekend, but I can assure you it won't be my last.
Anyone considering this ball, you will be making a good choice most likely. 900 Global and AMF are really relaseing great equipment at the moment and I hope the word gets out more. Thanks
